\nIn the last 15 months Phil Hellmuth has silenced his critics, two WSOP bracelets have taken his total to 13 and a string of cashes in big events have perhaps debunked that myth that he\u2019s a flat track bully. He knows his Premier League record isn\u2019t what it should be but thinks this might be the Premier League where his luck turns. \u201cI feel if in the last few years and went back and looked at every match I played you\u2019d be shocked at how many coin-flips I lost. I know that luck has played a factor in this, I\u2019m going to try not to complain if I get unlucky this time.\u201c<\/p>\n

No Need For Luck<\/h3>\n

But Hellmuth will of course not be planning to rely on luck. \u201cThis is the most prepared I\u2019ve ever been,\u201d he told the PartyPoker Blog. Previously I didn\u2019t understand the value of the points. I can remember finishing fourth in a heat and Daniel Negreanu saying. \u201cwow that\u2019s really good,\u201d and I thought it sucked. But he was right. I\u2019ve studied the points and the structure and I\u2019m ready for all the personal attacks. I\u2019ve never come to the Premier League prepared for all three before.\u201c<\/p>\n

Stay Clear of TonyG<\/h3>\n

Despite this there\u2019s one player he\u2019d rather not face off against in the group stage if he had his way. \u201cTony G can be a bit brutal, so I\u2019d prefer not to be in his group, at the same time I might even do better, so I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Feeling Confident<\/h3>\n

So with his incredible run Phil is obviously feeling confident heading into the Premier League but knows it\u2019s stocked with dangerous players. \u201cNegreanu has told everyone he\u2019s going to win it, he\u2019s very talented. I have a feeling Dan Shak is going to make the final. Antonio, Trickett and Marvin have had terrific years too.\u201d<\/p>\n

1.\tYou can play super tight and wait for the right spots and make the money
\n2.\tAt some point you\u2019re going to have take a stand and if you\u2019re going to play super tight use that image to your advantage
\n3.\tSometimes I don\u2019t even look at my hole cards<\/p>\n
