That’s right the first two participants for PartyPoker.com Premier League VI which is taking place between the 17th \u2013 23rd March 2012 will be Scott Seiver the defending champion<\/a><\/strong> and Daniel Negreanu. These are the first two we can announce of the 16 specially invited world class players who will pay a massive $125,000 buy-in.<\/p>\n As you may know Seiver is the PartyPoker.com Premier League V champion and since then has continued to crush it all over the world. We got a few words from Seiver who mentioned: \u201cI really enjoyed the interesting format last year and it was great to win. I am looking forward to defending my title.\u201d<\/p>\n Canadian poker superstar Daniel Negreanu needs no introduction, he previously took part in Season IV of the PartyPoker.com Premier League when it was held in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n When the PartyPokerBlog caught up with him Daniel said: “I’m really excited to be back playing the Premier League this year!” we asked him about the format and he mentioned that “I love the format and unique events like this are great for poker. I’m honored to be invited and happily support the event and plan on winning it!”<\/p>\n The event really is known through out the poker world as being truly unique and here we see some pros talk about their love of the format:<\/p>\n This time around the event is going to feature 16 players of whom will be split into two groups of eight in the Main Event. Each participant will end up competing in four league matches all using the now famous $2,000 per point system.<\/p>\n No PartyPoker event would ever be complete without Kara Scott who will present the coverage, and of course your PartyPoker blog team will be there to report on this poker extravaganza.
