It’s official. He did it!
\nEveryone knew it for quite some time, but now PartyPoker Pro Marvin Rettenmaier got the official confirmation that he’s the 2012 Bluff Magazine Player Of The Year.<\/p>\n
It has been a neck and neck race till the end between him and Dan Smith. Marvin’s triumph at the EPT Prague Highroller Event secured him first spot and the title of the Player Of The Year. 2012 was a year of great success for Marvin<\/a><\/strong> (doh! How else should he become a POTY) . Sitting on 1st place of the Global Poker Index, he needs to free up some more room on his trophy shelf (or trophy cabinet).<\/p>\n Marvin wins the Player Of The Year race of the European Poker Award miles ahead of Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier. On January 22nd he will be presented with the Award at the Aviation Club in Paris.<\/p>\n While this one is definite, he could take down two more Poker Awards, as he’s nominated in the categories “Best Tournament Performance” and the “Rob Gardner Memorial Award for the Poker Personality of the Year”. The latter has two more PartyPoker Pros among the nominees, Tony G and Kara Scott.
