Jonathan Duhamel opened under the gun, Alexander Lahkov calls in the small blind.<\/p>\n<p>Flop: [Qx][Jx][2x] with two spades<\/p>\n<p>Alexander opts for a check-raise to 20,000, Jonathan answers with an all in. Didn&#8217;t take Alexander long to call with [Kx][Qx], which was well ahead of Jonathan&#8217;s [Qx][Jx].<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/DSC082001-1024x6801.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Jonathan Duhamel\" width=\"512\" height=\"340\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-24699\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile Philippe Narboni doubled to 75,000 chips. At least temporarily. First he doubled with jacks against Zoltan Szabo&#8217;s kings after he put all his chips into the pot with a flopped set.<\/p>\n<p>Only a few hands later he got dealt jacks again. Once more Zoltan was one of his victims. While the official players party is still half an hour away, all PartyPoker &amp; bwin qualifiers were invited early for some preparty drink. There&#8217;s a Santa Claus theme going on down there, with the Royal Flush Girls dressed up as Santa&#8217;s little helpers.<\/p>\n<p>Going to be interesting to see who&#8217;s gonna be on stage for the karaoke.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/DSC08538w.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Royal Flush Girls\" width=\"512\" height=\"432\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24690\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/DSC08538w.jpg 512w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/DSC08538w-300x253.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re going to join the party later on, for now it&#8217;s back to poker.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;re 30 minutes into level 14, with blinds 1,2k\/2,4 ante 400. One more elimination and less than hundred players will be left in the Main Event.<\/p>\n<h3>Dinnerbreak.<\/h3>\n<p>Players in the Main Event are on dinnerbreak. There&#8217;s been a lot of action in these four levels so far, the field has been reduced from 280 to 105 players. If it goes on like this, we will get down to the 72 paid places shortly after the dinner. Well, it won&#8217;t go on like these. The closer we get to the money, the less action we&#8217;ll see.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile Gani Weiss took down a nice pot. He opened the action utg to 4,5k and got three callers.<\/p>\n<p>Flop: <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/4s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><\/p>\n<p>It was Tony Chang in the small blind who bet out for 8k, Pavel\tKellner on the button and Gani Weiss payed and the three of them saw <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> on the turn.<\/p>\n<p>Tony slowed down and it was Gani who put 17,000 into the middle. Pavel reacted with a raise to 37,500, while Tony gave it up at this point. The action was back to Gani who asked for a chipcount and finally moved all in. It was up to Pavel to make a decision for his tournament life. Neither of them hit the board and he had to pack his things. Two seats next to him it was Eugene Katchalov who went all in for around 35,000. It folds around to Mikhail Mazunin on the cutoff, who moves his huge stack into the middle.<\/p>\n<p>The action is back to Tony. Right away it&#8217;s obvious he has a hard decision.
