Yep that’s right our very own Tomaz Kogovsek takes it down after crushing the field here in Vienna and that’s after getting here all via a $200 online satellite!<\/p>\n
Five years is a long time in this game and Tomaz Kogovsek has of course knocked up quite a few paydays but this truly represents his biggest tournament cash yet, so a huge congratulations from us all here!<\/p>\n
On top of this he gets his buy in from PartyPoker to the WPT National Slovenia where on home ground he will attempt to make back to back WPT National final tables. And we thought we might be in for a long night this time as all players were relatively evenly stacked and just passing this chips about between them.<\/p>\n Level 27 saw Kogov\u0161ek going all-in for 1,825,000 covering his opponent with only 50k chips, the Czech called with a showdown of Kogovsek A\u2666 9\u2666 vs. Taborsky\u2019s 7\u2663 7\u2660. The board showed 6\u2663 A\u2665 3\u2663 3\u2665 2\u2665 favouring the Slovenian and taking us to heads up.<\/p>\n Down to heads up action where play was incredibly swift, after only 20 minutes play the clock was stopped with Kogovsek shoving all in with 4,900,000 chips against Muhlocker\u2019 895,000 preflop. Kogovsek hold A\u2665 8\u2666 and Muhlocker A\u2663 K\u2665.
