The Party Poker Irish Poker Festival began in style yesterday with day 1a of the Mystery Bounty event. In total 71 players took to the felt for a chance to make day 2, when those very mysterious bounties kick-in. The \u20ac50,000 guarantee looks to be in no danger, with more than half the guarantee collected on a day that would traditionally be the small field. One tournament did conclude yesterday, the first of several Pot Limit Omaha tournaments taking place at the festival. In total 57 players took part, creating a prize pool of \u20ac11,975.
