On Friday evening a satellite into this took place but today is Day 1a proper of the Party Poker Grand Prix, with a cool \u20ac1m guarantee!<\/p>\n

The Party Poker Grand Prix<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Grand Prix is one of Party Poker\u2019s most iconic poker events and has both online and live editions. Although this is a live edition and this is the first day of the festival, it actually got started a few months ago on with several online starting days on Party Poker. And despite this being the first live day 1 of the festival, there have already been some special live starting days in Greece, Cyprus, Italy and Ireland. In total before today, 319 players had already participated in a day 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Play is underway in Day 1a and the turnout is quite impressive for the opening weekend, which is often a low-key affair with just a few tables in operation. On this occasion, 229 entries we registered and the venue is running at full capacity.\u00a0 As expected, a lot of local players are taking advantage of the cut-price entry in this flight, but many overseas players have also turned up early as well, including young Dutch Instagram entrepreneur and influencer Stan Dannijs.<\/p>\n

If you missed this first cut-price opportunity to play in the Party Poker Grand Prix, there is another one taking place on Sunday 24th September, after that the buy-in returns to the usual \u20ac550 for the remaining flights, which restart on Thursday 28th September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

If you still haven\u2019t qualified for the Party Poker Grand Prix Malta, there is one more opportunity to do so in the final online satellite, which takes place on Party Poker at 22:00 (UK time) on Sunday 24th September. Its the final of a phase satellite, which means you cant enter it directly, but you can gain entry to it by playing in the \u20ac44 Phase 2 satellite at 15:00 (UK time).
