The festival has been a massive success with players hungry for the revival of the partypoker LIVE tour. Not only is the atmosphere full of fun and energy, but the partypoker Grand Prix \u20ac550 Main Event smashed its lofty \u20ac500,000 guarantee with 1,113 entries creating a \u20ac542,588 prize pool.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There are 20 players left at the time of writing, with a whopping \u20ac120,000 for first place up for grabs. With an average stack of 37 big blinds, there is still plenty of play left for players in the game.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Local player Tabriz Pedram Sarayedarzadeh finished as the Day 1A chip leader and featured on stream across most of the day. His aggressive approach pre flop helped propel him up the leaderboard, and kept the live stream entertained, as he found spots to jam, not just with Aces and Kings, but also found a 3-bet jam with 7-2 offsuit, which got through. With total live cashes at $8967, he is close to equalling his total lifetime winnings.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Other notable names include Greek player Nanos Dimitrios, Hungarian Andras Balogh and Slovakian Tomas Chrobak. A second place finish will give Andras his biggest live cash, whilst a sixth place finish will give Nanos and Tomas their best live cash. Whatever happens at our final table, we are likely to see records broken.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
