You do not have long to wait to get involved in the next PartyPoker<\/strong> festival because the Grand Prix Spring edition<\/strong> is right around the corner, with the first of 12 numbered events shuffling up and dealing at 16:05 GMT on March 16.<\/p>\n

Three Grand Prix Spring edition Main Events<\/a>
\nGrand Prix Spring Edition schedule<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Grand Prix Spring edition runs from March 16 through April 3, and sees 12 numbered events with buy-ins from $1.10 to $55 and combined guarantees north of $450,000. In addition to these key tournaments, there are dozens of side events complementing the schedule, again, across a range of affordable buy-ins.<\/p>\n

We kick things off with the second largest guaranteed tournament on the schedule on March 16: the Grand Prix Spring Opener PKO<\/strong>. It will cost you $33 to enter, but you get to play for a share of a guaranteed $75,000<\/strong>. Keeping in line with our other tournament series, the Opener PKO and all other Grand Prix Spring edition events have several flights designed to give everyone more flexibility when it comes to planning their tournament grind.<\/p>\n

The Opener PKO runs alongside the $5.50 buy-in $15,000 guaranteed Mini Opener PKO<\/strong>, and the $1.10 buy-in $2,500 guaranteed Micro Opener PKO<\/strong> event.<\/p>\n

Three Tiers of Grand Prix Spring Main Events<\/h2>\n

Your first chance to build a stack in the exciting Main Event also comes on March 16. The Main Event commands a $55 buy-in<\/strong>, but despite its affordability, we have placed a $250,000 guarantee<\/strong> on the prize pool!<\/p>\n

Again, running alongside the Main Event are an $11 buy-in $50,000 guaranteed Mini Main Event<\/strong>, and a $2.20 buy-in $10,000 guaranteed Micro Main Event<\/strong>. All three of these tournaments represent incredible value, more so if you manage to secure a seat after starting at the $0.01 buy-in Centroll satellites<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It does not matter which buy-in tier you enter, you will play to the same amazing structure of the $250,000 guaranteed Main Event! Everyone sits down with 100,000 chips and plays to an eight minute clock where the blinds and antes start at 400\/800\/100a. Each Day concludes when only 15% of the field remains, with those players progressing to Day 2 at 20:05 GMT on April 3<\/strong> with at least a min-cash in tow.<\/p>\n

Non-Hold’em players will be happy to learn there are Pot-Limit Omaha<\/strong> and Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo<\/strong> events on the Grand Prix Spring edition schedule. The PLO8 PKO Championship<\/strong> run from March 20-27, come with buy-ins of $44, $5.50, and $1.10, and feature guarantees worth $20,000, $5,000, and $1,000, respectively.<\/p>\n

The PLO PKO Championship<\/strong> events run from March 27-April 3, with buy-ins of $33, $5.50, and $1.10, and guarantees tipping the scales at $20,000, $5,000, and $1,000.<\/p>\n
