The latest Big Saturday<\/strong> has crowned its winner, and it is “Drogbaa”<\/strong> that can call themselves a PartyPoker<\/a> champion for the next seven days. The Big Saturday saw 128 players buy-in, which left a near $4,300 overlay, adding more value to an already awesome tournament.<\/p>\n

Twenty-three of the 128 starters saw a return on their investment, so spare a moment’s thought for 24th place finisher “yagrebulave”<\/strong> who was the unfortunate soul that popped the all-important money bubble. With the bubble burst, the surviving players locked in at least $534.19 for their efforts.<\/p>\n

By the time the nine-handed final table was set, the minimum cash weighed in at $825.13, with all but two players securing a four-figure sum.<\/p>\n

“bartholin8”<\/strong> saw their time at the final table limited because they bowed out in ninth. Eighth place and the last three-figure score, $974.37 to be exact, went to “derlangegrinderJR.”<\/strong> Everyone was now seeing more than $1,100 hitting their accounts.<\/p>\n

“RinxFrinkX”<\/strong> busted in seventh for $1,128 before “For_Tuna”<\/strong> was caught without the good and had to settle for the $1,316 sixth-place prize. Fifth place and $1,620 went to “SkytPoker,”<\/strong> with “Jose Exotico”<\/strong> falling by the wayside in fourth, a finish good for $2,148.<\/p>\n

Three-handed play ended, and the tournament progressed to the exciting heads-up stage when “olespengefabrik”<\/strong> ran out of steam in third. Although disappointed not to go all the way, the third-place finisher cannot be too disappointed about turning $109 into $2,997.<\/p>\n

Heads-up pitted “Leonel_pepsi”<\/strong> against “Drogabaa.”<\/strong> There was more than $2,100 difference between first and second-place money, but neither of the final two players was interested in striking a deal. Instead, they concluded the Big Saturday as it was intended.<\/p>\n

After an intense one-on-one battle, Drogbaa clinched the title and the $6,491 top prize, resigning Leonel_pepsi to the $4,322 consolation prize.<\/p>\n

The Big Action Continues Sunday<\/h2>\n

The Big Saturday may be done and dusted, but that does not spell the end of hot action at PartyPoker this weekend because Sunday is jam-packed with some incredible tournaments that are waiting for you to take them down and claim their juicy top prizes!<\/p>\n

The Sunday Carnival<\/strong><\/a> kicks off at 19:05 GMT. It only costs $22 to enter but has a whopping $75,000 guaranteed prize pool!<\/strong> Usually, the Sunday Carnival guarantees $50,000 but this week and the February 26 edition have their guarantees boosted to $75,000.<\/p>\n

Also running at 19:05 GMT is the $109 buy-in $150,000 guaranteed Sunday Party<\/strong><\/a>. Last weekend, “Chunkayyy”<\/strong><\/a> outlasted 1,449 opponents on their way to taking home a cool $17,016. Will you be in the winner’s circle in the Sunday Party this weekend?<\/p>\n
