A shade over eight hours later, the 160-strong field had been whittled down to a single player, Brapan30.

The money bubble burst when “Pillepalle248” busted in 32nd place. Their exit locked in a min-cash of $423.91 for the surviving players. Those survivors crashed one by one until only nine PartyPoker players were in the hunt for the $6,158 top prize. $786.21 was the least any of the finalists would take home, with seven of the final nine padding their bankrolls with four-figure prizes.

“Way2Cold2Fold” found themselves void of chips early into the final table action, resulting in a ninth-place finish. “billyboyspuff” was the next player heading for the exits, their eighth-place finish coming with $915 reasons to be happy with their performance.

With only seven players remaining, each was guaranteed more than $1,000 for their efforts. The final seven became six with the elimination of “AAzulay” ($1,075) and then five when “antiZZZ” ($1,282) crashed by the wayside.

Fourth place and $1,556 went to “uffgepasst77” before “mardaturan” ($2,073) and “Benibennn” ($3,027) saw their tournament’s end prematurely, leaving Brapan30 heads-up against “AlbertoBalsalm.”

The heads-up duo settled the tournament without discussing a deal despite a $1,830 difference in prize money.
