A field of 530 entrants paid $320 to enter, and created a $159,000 prize pool for those entrants to fight over. Only 80 of the starters made it through to Day 2 on November 6, and it was Malta&#8217;s <strong>Manuel Carvalho<\/strong> who outlasted them all.<\/p>\n<p>Team PartyPoker&#8217;s Staples brothers were among the 80 Day 2 players. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/jaime-staples\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Jaime Staples<\/strong><\/a> busted in 55th, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/matt-staples\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Matt Staples<\/strong><\/a> going a little deeper before busting in 42nd. Others who helped themselves to some of the main prize pool cash but fell short of the final table included <strong>Josip Simunic<\/strong>, <strong>Dan Wilson<\/strong>, <strong>Thomas Boivin<\/strong>, WSOP Ladies Event champion <strong>Jessica Teusl<\/strong>, and <strong>Steven Van Zadelhoff<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>With bounties included, none of the seven finalists could take home less than $3,300. <strong>Dalton Hobold<\/strong> of Brazil was the first finalists to bow out. Hobold helped himself to $3,312.<\/p>\n<p>A trio of players sporting the Union jack of the United Kingdom fell in succession. <strong>Lander Bereciartua<\/strong> ($3,306), <strong>Samuel Simister<\/strong> ($7,560), and <strong>Charlie Combes<\/strong> (6,347) being the three recently departed stars.<\/p>\n<p>Heads-up was set when <strong>Giuseppe Orlando<\/strong> ran out of steam, and had to console himself with an $11,197 haul. Orlando&#8217;s total prize was almost the same size as the one the runner-up collected thanks to banking $3,673 worth of bounty payments before falling in third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>David Harvey<\/strong> and Manuel Carvalho were the heads-up duo. Both secured more than $11,000 from the main prize pool, leaving the ample final bounties up for grabs. Carvalho defeated his opponent and reeled in a $15,988 bounty payment, taking his total haul to an impressive $27,049. Canada&#8217;s <strong>Ian Modder<\/strong> finished Day 1C with $2,281 worth of bounties in his pocket, in addition to 22,440,524 chips, enough to top the flight&#8217;s chip counts and lead the tournament overall with four Day 1s remaining.<\/p>\n<p>Three PartyPoker players saw a return on their satellite investments by progressing through the latest Sunday Phase Final. <strong>Pablo Martin-Romo<\/strong> and <strong>Rob Sherwood<\/strong> may not have punched their Day 2 tickets at the first time of asking, but they did win $250 and $875, respectively, from the bounty prize pool.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Florin Danut Pascariu<\/strong> also won $875 worth of scalps, in addition to bagging up 5,239,499 chips for Day 2.<\/p>\n<h3>Love poker?
