Nobody has managed to win the PartyPoker MILLIONS Online Main Event<\/strong> more than once, but that could be set to change thanks to Endrit Geci<\/strong> progressing to Day 2 of the $3,200 buy-in $2 million guaranteed Main Event.<\/p>\n

Geci won the MILLIONS Online Main Event in March 2021<\/a>. The tournament was a $5,300 buy-in affair when Geci won, which is why his impressive victory came with $774,838, a prize the talented British star called life-changing<\/a>. Now Geci has a realistic shot at winning the MILLIONS Online Main Event for a second time because he progressed from Sunday’s Day 1D in second place with 14,427,793 chips, which are enough for seventh-place overall right now.<\/p>\n

Only Jans Arends<\/strong> bagged up more chips than Geci at the end of Day 1D. Arends’ 18,950,287 stack put him at the top of the 33 Day 1D survivors from a field of 217 entrants. Arends with a big stack spells bad news for anyone unfortunate enough to find themselves at his Day 2 table.<\/p>\n

Others who punched their Day 2 tickets from the Day 1D flight include Ognyan Dimov<\/strong> (11,828,490), Joao Vieira<\/strong> (10,365,370), David Yan<\/strong> (8,995,546), Mike Watson<\/strong><\/a> (4,034,281), Pascal Lefrancois<\/strong><\/a> (2,017,447), and Adrian Mateos<\/strong> (1,344,678).<\/p>\n

Hellmuth, Not The One, Tops Mini Main Event Day 1D Field<\/h2>\n

Fire up the $320 buy-in $500,000 guaranteed MILLIONS Online Mini Main Event<\/strong> Day 1D lobby and be prepared to double-check the man at the top of the chip counts. A quick glance reveals Hellmuth was the chip leader with 23,400,322 chips, although it is the United Kingdom’s Martin Hellmuth<\/strong> and not the 16-time World Series of Poker bracelet champion with the same surname!<\/p>\n

Hellmuth was one of two Day 1D players to finish the night with more than 20 million chips. Hellmuth bagged up 23,400,322 chips, while Daniel Smiljkovic<\/strong> returns to the action with 21,905,166 chips at his disposal. Both players have huge stacks, yet still trail Paul Hoefer<\/strong> overall, as the Austrian’s arsenal contains 27,477,141 chips.<\/p>\n

Some 99 of the 658 Day 1D starters made it through to Day 2.
