\n\"\"Hakan Inan<\/strong> might not be the biggest name on the poker circuit just yet but he sure knew how to answer some of my questions.<\/p>\n

Luckily for me I managed to catch up with him last week just after he won a $3,500 WPT National Series Denmark package to the event in Vejle.<\/p>\n

Dany Willis:<\/strong> Congrats on winning a WPT seat in Demark, so when did you first start playing poker?<\/p>\n

Hakan Inan:<\/strong> Back in 2008<\/p>\n

DW:<\/strong> Alright tell us what kind of stakes and games do you normally play?<\/p>\n

HI:<\/strong> I like to play\u00a0big\u00a0tournaments.\u00a0I\u2019d say I play about 70% online poker and 30% live poker.<\/p>\n

The Emerald Isle<\/h3>\n

DW: <\/strong>This won\u2019t be your fist major live event right? You did quite well in Ireland, tell us about that?<\/p>\n

HI:<\/strong> Yes, that was the WPT Dublin in\u00a02012, I placed 33rd and cashed for \u20ac5500<\/p>\n

DW:<\/strong> A decent payday there, Seth and I had the chance to talk to\u00a0Padraig Parkinson whilst at the WPT Venice<\/a>, he always says that’s a great event. Anyway\u00a0outside of poker what kind of hobbies and interests do you have?<\/p>\n

HI:<\/strong> I like to play\u00a0football\u00a0and spend time with my family.<\/p>\n

DW:<\/strong> So is this a full time occupation or do you have a day job?<\/p>\n

HI:<\/strong> I\u00a0am\u00a0sales manager but my\u00a0big\u00a0target is to become a\u00a0professional\u00a0poker\u00a0player.<\/p>\n

No Fear!<\/h3>\n

DW:<\/strong> Which players would you be most scared to see at your table? Any pros you\u2019d\u00a0hope to play with?<\/p>\n

HI: <\/strong> I have no\u00a0idols and I have\u00a0no fear of big\u00a0names.<\/p>\n

Fast Cars<\/h3>\n

DW:<\/strong> Wow fearless huh? Okay playing the fun hypothetical pretend game, if you won a big live event what is the first thing you’d buy with the prize money?<\/p>\n

HI:<\/strong> Porsche Cayenne.<\/p>\n

DW:<\/strong> That was a bit of a snap call answer; c\u2019mon you\u2019d be practicing that one right? Alright last one and I\u2019ll let you get packing for Denmark, rumor is TonyG is going to be in a castle there,<\/a> so go on tell us how\u2019d you celebrate your victory?<\/p>\n

HI:<\/strong> My wife and I went out for a nice meal.<\/p>\n

DW:<\/strong> And hopefully you decided on a color for that Porsche right? Anyway once again Hakan thanks for taking the time to catch up with us, a pleasure as usual.<\/p>\n

Our next big WPT that you can qualify to is of course Vienna,\u00a0with online satellites currently running on partypoker.
