The 152-strong field was reduced to only 23, with those 23 players now guaranteed at least a min0cash when they head to Dusk Till Dawn<\/strong> for Day 2 of this magnificent tournament.<\/p>\n

Nobody bagged up more chips than Benjamin Sweetman<\/strong>, who ended Day 1A with a 1,462,426 stack from his 100,000 starting chips. Sweetman now heads to the home of British poker with a realistic chance of returning home with the lion’s share of the prize pool and the all-important trophy.<\/p>\n

Nicusor Ochian<\/strong> finished Day 1A second in chips with a $1,375,559 stack. That would be impressive in its own right but Ochian won his seat via a \u00a316.50 satellite<\/strong> on the night of Day 1A. That \u00a316.50 is now guaranteed to swell to at least \u00a3200, which isn’t a bad return on its own.<\/p>\n

Kevin Brzozowski<\/strong> (862,362) and Troy Wood<\/strong> (230,561) also bagged up Day 1A stack after winning their \u00a3120 seat for only \u00a316.50.<\/p>\n

Shout-out also to the two partypoker ladies who not only made it through the shark-infested waters of Day 1A but did so with a top ten stack in tow. Look out for Mary Yates<\/strong> (828,005) and Susie Williamson<\/strong> (808,370) when Day 2 commences on July 17.<\/p>\n

Future Grand Prix Online Day 1s<\/h2>\n

Three more online Day 1s are scheduled at partypoker, each shuffling up and dealing at 20:05 BST on July 11, 12, and the final flight on July 13.<\/p>\n

Live Day 1s then take over on July 14, 15, and a trio of them on July 16. All Live Day 1s run at Dusk Till Dawn. Day 2 gets underway at 14:00 BST on July 17 with everyone in the money places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
