His ace-queen sucked out on the dominating ace-king shortly after the scheduled dinner break, and he never looked back. Colillas, who has more than $6 million in live poker tournament earnings, is the one to watch on Day 2 and, possibly, beyond.

Four other Day 1C players turned their one million starting chips into an eight-figure stack. Re Gabrielle (12,230,000), Alex Lynskey (11,685,000), Mitchell Hynam (11,280,000), and Emmanuel Rouvet (10,650,000) were that quartet. Of those four players, Alex Lynskey is the most accomplished. The talented Australian has a shade under $4 million in live cashes and millions more from the online grind.

Also through to Day 2 and guaranteed at least a min-cash of €5,000, are the likes of Moene Jelle (8,675,000), Arthur Conan (6,945,000), and Yucel “Mad Turk” Eminoglu (1,875,000).

While the players mentioned above celebrated progressing deeper in the MILLIONS Europe Main Event, Day 1C proved to be the end of the road for a whole host of household names.
