The MILLIONS Online KO<\/strong><\/a> series continued over the weekend and awarded some massive payouts to partypoker players. Mexico-based Nikita Kalinin<\/strong> was the weekend’s biggest winner after they finished on top of the pile in the $215 7-Max Weekender event for $34,413.<\/p>\n

Some 1,267 players bought in across several starting flights, which meant the $200,000 guarantee was smashed by $53,400. Only 189 of those who bought in made it through to Day 2, each guaranteed a min-cash in addition to any bounty payments they picked up along the way.<\/p>\n

partypoker regulars including Diego Cuellar<\/strong><\/a>, Pavel Veksler<\/strong><\/a>, Tomi Brouk<\/strong><\/a>, Lars Kamphues<\/strong>, Team Online’s Matt Staples<\/strong><\/a>, Fabio Sperling<\/strong><\/a>, Jerry Odeen<\/strong>, Alex Kulev<\/strong>, and Ben Warrington<\/strong> all received a payout from the main prize pool but fell short of a final table appearance.<\/p>\n

Timothy Ulmer<\/strong> saw his tournament end in a seventh-place finish worth $5,580. Ulmer took home more than the $4,659 collected by Thanh Tung Hoang<\/strong>, who finished in sixth, thanks to the bounty element of this exciting event.<\/p>\n

South Americans Marcio Matheus Paiola Pereira<\/strong> and Raul Manzano<\/strong> were the next players heading to the cashier desk, doing so to get their hands on $6,896 and $8,271 respectively.<\/p>\n

The top three finishers all saw their $215 investment swell into a five-figure score. Bruno Dell<\/strong> crashed out in third for $13,966, leaving Alexandre Raymond<\/strong><\/a> and Kalinin heads-up. Raymond has reached several MILLIONS Online KO final tables to date and won an event last week. However, he had to console himself with the $19,152 runner-up prize this time around, leaving Kalinin to secure the $34,413 top prize.<\/p>\n

Thirty-Two More Players Progress in the Main Event<\/h2>\n

Day 1B of the $1 million guaranteed Main Event<\/strong> saw another 216 players buy in but only 32 punch their Day 2 tickets from this flight. Spare a thought for Team Online’s Jaime Staples<\/strong><\/a> who busted in 34th place and narrowly missed out on a Day 2 spot. Staples did collect $250 worth of bounties before busting.<\/p>\n

Team partypoker’s Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a> made it through safely with 6,749,564 chips and $1,000 in bounties.<\/p>\n

Four-time WSOP bracelet winner Michael Gathy<\/strong> shone the brightest on Day 1B of the Main Event. The Malta-based Belgian finished with $1,750 secured from the bounty prize pool plus a massive stack of 17,734,856 chips which not only topped the Day 1B counts but means Gathy leads overall.<\/p>\n

Pablo Brito Silva<\/strong><\/a> finished with 16,527,193 and $1,687.50 worth of scalps, enough for second place overall right now.<\/p>\n

We have to give a special mention to the trio of players who won their $1,050 MILLIONS Online KO Main Event seats via the latest Mega Satellite before navigating their way through the Day 1B field. Sven Stok<\/strong> finished with a respectable 7,400,855, while Jake Miller<\/strong> bagged up 6,438,868 chips plus a $250 bounty payment. Oliver Sprason<\/strong> returns to the Main Event action armed with 3,627,787 chips.<\/p>\n
