His sixth-place finish came with \u00a35,580 in prize money, only a fortnight after he finished third in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/alex-peffly-takes-down-2022-irish-open-high-roller-for-e111k.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>\u20ac5,000 Coin Rivet High Roller<\/strong><\/a> at the <strong>2022 Irish Open<\/strong> for \u20ac51,385.<\/p>\n<p>World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner <strong>Carl Shaw<\/strong> was the next player heading to the Dusk Till Dawn cashier\u2019s cage. Shaw, who won a $5,000 No-Limit Hold\u2019em event in 2019 for $606,562, had to make do with the \u00a38,365 fifth-place prize money in this event.<\/p>\n<p>The surviving four players were now guaranteed a five-figure haul with Shaw out of the way. <strong>Tom Hall<\/strong> of Shrewsbury, United Kingdom, fell in fourth place, which was the 164th live poker tournament cash of his career. This latest in-the-money finish came with \u00a311,150. You may recall Hall finished fourth in the <strong>2018 MILLIONS UK Main Event<\/strong> and returned home \u00a3300,000 richer then when he arrived. Look out for Hall in the PPC UK Main Event.<\/p>\n<p>Local lad, <strong>Paul Allen<\/strong> crashed out in third place to send the tournament into the heads-up stage. Until this event, Allen\u2019s largest live score tipped the scales a \u00a312,600, his reward for a runner-up finish in a <strong>DTD200<\/strong> event in 2017. He can now brag of winning \u00a316,730.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Connor and <strong>Jamie Nixon<\/strong> found themselves heads up the title and the lion\u2019s share of the \u00a3111,550 prize pool. Both players know each other well courtesy of them both being online and live grinders living in Leeds. They neglected to strike a deal, which meant Nixon had to console himself with the \u00a327,890 second-place prize. This was Nixon\u2019s <strong>third straight runner-up finish<\/strong> in a High Roller event having finished second in London for \u00a340,323 and second again at the Irish Open for \u20ac44,600.<\/p>\n<p>Nixon\u2019s elimination left O\u2019Connor as the last man standing and he received \u00a341,830 and bragging rights among his peers.<\/p>\n<h2>PPC UK Main Event Continues<\/h2>\n<p>The live section of the PPC UK schedule continues at Dusk Till Dawn throughout the weekend and into Bank Holiday Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Day 1A of the live Main Event saw 13 of the 84 entrants progress to Day 2, doing so in the money.
