We only recently crowned our first ever partypoker Players Championship (PPC)<\/strong> champion when Oliver Hutchins<\/strong><\/a> took down the inaugural PPC Malta Main Event, turning a \u20ac109 satellite into a \u20ac74,000 score, but we are wasting no time in unveiling the latest PPC festival: PPC UK<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

PPC UK, like the Malta iteration, runs online at partypoker and at a live venue, that venue being the home o British poker, Dusk Till Dawn<\/strong>. The online section runs from April 16 to April 27 at partypoker, with the live section kicking off April 28 and running through to May 2.<\/p>\n

PPC UK Online Events<\/h2>\n

April 16 at 19:05 BST is when the first PPC UK online event shuffles up and deals; the $200,000 guaranteed Opener<\/strong>. There are a handful of $162 buy-in Day 1s for you to flex your muscles in as you attempt to progress to the final day on April 18. A deep run in the Opener will set you and your bankroll up nicely for the rest of the series.<\/p>\n

The online PPC UK schedule is awash with exciting events, but two stand out from the crowd.<\/p>\n

Event #08 is the Mini Main<\/strong>, which is only mini in name. It commands a $109 buy-in<\/strong>, although there are satellites galore planned for it, and comes with a prize pool that awards not a penny less than $250,000<\/strong>. Day 1s run from April 22-24 with the final day kicking off on April 24 at 19:30 BST.<\/p>\n

You can also start your quest for Main Event<\/strong> glory from the comfort of your home or on the move via the feature-rich partypoker Mobile poker App<\/strong><\/a>. Two online Day 1s for the \u00a3550 buy-in \u00a3500,000 guaranteed PPC UK Main Event<\/strong> are scheduled. They start at 20:05 BST on April 24 and April 27.<\/p>\n

Each online Main Event Day 1 concludes when only 15% of the field remains. Anyone with even a single chip at this time makes it through to Day 2, which takes place at Dusk Till Dawn, Nottingham, United Kingdom, on May 2. Reaching Day 2 means you are in the money<\/strong>, and a min-cash will hit your partypoker account within 24-hours of your Day 1 finishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

PPC UK Live Events<\/h2>\n

The live section of the PPC UK festival runs from April 28 through May 2<\/strong>. While it is dominated by the \u00a3560 buy-in \u00a3500,000 guaranteed Main Event<\/strong>, there are several side events for players to get their teeth into.<\/p>\n

A \u00a32,200 High Roller<\/strong>, with a \u00a3100,000 guarantee, gets the show on the road. Complementing the Main Event are side events such as Win the Button,<\/strong> a \u00a3340 freezeout, the \u00a3250 DTD Cup<\/strong>, a bounty tournament, and the series-ending Closer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
