Ladies and gentlemen, we have a KO Series High Main Event<\/strong> champion, and “Joel Osteen”<\/strong> is that person. Joel Osteen overcame a field of 1,915 entrants to turn their $320 investment into a bankroll-boosting $66,149<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Only 284 of the 1,915 starters made it through to Day 2, which took place on February 7. All Day 2 players secured a slice of the main prize pool, plus any bounties they collected along the way to the business end of the tournament.<\/p>\n

Team partypoker\u2019s Matthew Staples<\/strong> came unstuck in 136th place and walked away with $408 from the main prize pool plus $276 worth of bounties. He was the only Team partypoker to make it into Day 2.<\/p>\n

Once the nine-handed final table was set nobody took home less than $6,310.<\/p>\n

Ninth-place finisher “NotSoAtrong”<\/strong> netted more than that, however, because they collected a combined $8,863 thanks to $5,424 worth of scalps. “CaptainWook”<\/strong> won $6,310 for their exit in eighth before “FlopTurnFFS”<\/strong> and “nbRRR”<\/strong> fell by the wayside and padded their partypoker bankrolls with scores worth $8,711 and $10,824, respectively.<\/p>\n

The pay jumps grew large at this point with fourth-place finisher “MaxLateReg_”<\/strong> collecting $14,875 but “Si1veiraa”<\/strong> reeling in an impressive $34,822 after falling in third. That massive haul was helped by Si1vieraa winning $12,213 from the bounty prize pool; only the champion won bounties.<\/p>\n

Heads-up pitted “b_bernardinh0”<\/strong> and Joel Osteen in a one-on-one battle for the lion\u2019s share of the $574,500 prize pool. The latter got the job done and their hands on a combined $66,149, leaving the runner-up to win $35,089.<\/p>\n

Roronoa_Zoro89 Crowned Medium Main Event Champion<\/h2>\n

“Roronoa_Zoro89”<\/strong> is another partypoker who can call themselves a KO Series Main Event champion because they were the last player standing in the $33 buy-in Medium Main Event<\/strong>. The tournament drew in a 7,266-strong crowd, with 1,054 of those players returning to their seats for Day 2.<\/p>\n

Each of the nine finalists saw their $33 investment swell to more than $1,800 with the last two players netting five-figure scores. The heads-up duo of “Snakeyes21”<\/strong> and Roronoa_Zoro89 struck a deal that brought the tournament to an earlier conclusion. The deal saw Snakeyes21 officially finish in second place, and win $11,717, which left Roronoa_Zoro89 to become the event\u2019s champion, an accolade worth $18,043.<\/p>\n

“g4rm_HAHA” Turns $3.30 Into $1,833<\/h2>\n

“g4rm_HAHA”<\/strong> is the partypoker player who won the $3.30 KO Series Low Main Event<\/strong>, a tournament that saw the champion have to outlast 5,800 opponents. The victory came with a prize worth a combined $1,833, made up of a $1,259 main prize pool prize and an impressive $574 worth of bounty payments.<\/p>\n

The champion defeated “see.sea”<\/strong> heads-up to become a KO Series Main Event champion. The runner-up also won four figures for their small $3.30 initial outlay. Second-place was worth a total of $1,325, a significant bankroll boost for a $3.30 tournament player.<\/p>\n
