All those players locked in a payment of at least $2,114. Players such as Team partypoker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/isaac-haxton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Isaac Haxton<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/joni-jouhkimainen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Joni Jouhkimainen<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/yuri-dzivielevski\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Yuri Dzivielevski<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/joao-simao\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Joao Simao<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/patrick-leonard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a> cashed, but fell short of the final table.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nicolo Molonelli<\/strong> busted in tenth, which set the final table. Those nine finalists were now eight eliminations away from winning this event.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/ioannis-angelou-konstas-wins-2020-irish-open-online-high-roller.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Ioannis Angelou Konstas<\/strong><\/a> was the first of the nine to fall by the wayside. He padded his bankroll with $14,988. <strong>Luis Dono<\/strong> of Mexico and <strong>Lucas Blanco Oliver<\/strong> of Andorra were the next players heading to the showers. Their partypoker accounts are now boosted by scores of $19,026 and $24,027 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The first of two Russians at the final table, <strong>Konstantin Maslak<\/strong>, saw his participation end in a sixth-place exit worth $30,493, before <strong>Thomas Boivin<\/strong>, an established grinder from Belgium, ran out of steam, and had to make do with the $39,501 fifth-place prize.<\/p>\n<p>The pay jumps grew increasingly large with each player\u2019s exit. For example, fourth-place finisher <strong>Markkos Ladev<\/strong> netted $57,680 some $18,179 more than Boivin who fell before him. Third-place finisher <strong>Viktor Ustimov<\/strong> won $88,315, over $30,000 more than Ladev!<\/p>\n<p>With Ustimov out of the way, the tournament was heads-up, where both players were guaranteed six-figure sums. It was a battle of great poker minds with Astedt locking horns with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/damian-salas-on-course-for-wptwoc-main-event-title.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Damian Salas<\/strong><\/a>, the Argentinian who won the 2020 WSOP Hybrid Main Event. Salas would not add this title to his list of accomplishments, because the night belonged to Astedt.<\/p>\n<p>The Swede eliminated his final opponent and secured $186,707 of the $1,142,000 prize pool, resigning Salas to a $128,543 consolation prize.<\/p>\n<h3>Love poker?
