Some 693 players bought in and created a \u20ac346,500 prize pool, half going on the heads of each player with the remaining 50% being shared among the top 105 finishers.<\/p>\n<p>Ireland\u2019s <strong>Richard O\u2019Neill<\/strong> helped himself to the tournament&#8217;s largest prize, namely \u20ac23,564 from the main prize pool plus an additional \u20ac25,750 worth of bounty payments, his reward for eliminating ten opponents on his way to victory.<\/p>\n<p>Plenty of big names reached Day 2 but failed to make it to the final table. The likes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/tomi-brouk-wins-the-grand-patrick-leonard-second.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Tomi Brouk<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>Peter Traply<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/astedt-swaps-two-hole-cards-for-four-still-wins.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Niklas Astedt<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>Jack Sinclair<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/wpt-prague-andrey-pateychuk-triumphs.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Andrey Pateychuk<\/strong><\/a>, and <strong>Guillaume Nolet<\/strong> fell at various stages of the final day, the latter busting in eighth and setting the official final table.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jens Bro Pagter<\/strong> of Denmark was the first of the official seven finalists to crash out. <strong>Anton Yakuba<\/strong>, <strong>Enrico Camosci<\/strong>, and Brazilian sensation Bruno Volkmann<strong> bowed out, too, leaving only three players in the hunt for the title.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Those three became two when <strong>Nikita Aseev<\/strong> fell in third, leaving O\u2019Neill heads-up against <strong>Paul Tait<\/strong> of the United Kingdom. The seven-handed final table was set when Keith Frazer crashed out on eighth.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin Snelgrove of Canada and Egot Gudovich of Russia busted from the final table early doors. <strong>Christian Nolte<\/strong>, <strong>Tomaz Kogovsek<\/strong>, and <strong>Vladimir Belekhov<\/strong> were the next casualties, the latter falling to the wayside in third.<\/p>\n<p>Mitev found himself heads-up against <strong>Riku Koivurinne<\/strong> of Finland, a country renowned for producing elite Omaha poker players.
