Russian superstar Artur Martirosian<\/strong><\/a> ended Day 2 armed with 3,226,000 chips, more than any of the other 93 players safely through to the third day\u2019s action.<\/p>\n

Some 745 players bought in across the starting flights, which created a $1,370,800 prize pool<\/strong> that the top 89 finishers will share. Whoever becomes the MILLIONS North Cyprus Warm-Up champion walks away with $240,265, and Martirosian is the man in pole position right now.<\/p>\n

Martirosian has happy memories of the five-star all-inclusive Merit Crystal Cove Hotel & Spa<\/strong> because he won a $100,000 Super High Roller<\/strong> event a couple of weeks ago. The Russian padded his ample bankroll with a career-best $1,400,000.<\/p>\n

The Russian soared into the chip lead during the 6,000\/12,000\/120,000a level. Milad Oghabian<\/strong> four-bet to 240,000 preflop, and Martirosian called. Martirosian bet 100,000 on a ten-high flop, and Oghabian called. Oghabian moved all in on the turn with , holding a gutshot straight draw and the nut flush draw. Martirosian called with for two pair, which held.<\/p>\n

Martirosian is not the only big name among the 94 players through to Day 3. His fellow Russian Viktor Ustimov<\/strong> has 2,400,000 chips while Day 1A chip leader Muharrem Atsiz<\/strong> progressed with 2,370,000 chips.<\/p>\n

Flamboyant Frenchman Johan Guilbert<\/strong> (1,068,000), Ionel Anton<\/strong> (916,000), WSOP bracelet winner Kacper Pyzara<\/strong> (680,000), Walid Bou Habib<\/strong> (650,000), Nicolas Chouity<\/strong> (625,000), and Dmitry Gromov<\/strong><\/a> (239,000) are just a handful of names to look out for on Day 3.<\/p>\n
