The wait for the 2021 WPT World Online Championships (WPTWOC)<\/strong><\/a> is almost over with the first of 14 massive events scheduled to shuffle up and deal on August 12<\/strong>. Day 1 of the festival sees two WPTWOC events kick the festival off in style: the Opener<\/strong> and the Mini Opener<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Opener is a $215 buy-in 7-Max PKO<\/strong> with a whopping $1 million guaranteed prize pool<\/strong>. There are dozens of flights to get stuck into between August 12-23, with those flights running several times per day, giving everyone a chance to play for a seven-figure prize pool regardless of where in the world they are located.<\/p>\n

The Mini Opener mirrors the Opener in that it is a 7-Max PKO event running over multiple Day 1s. The main differences are the buy-in is only $22<\/strong>, and the guarantee weighs in at a still-impressive $200,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Day 2, on August 13, sees the Opener and Mini Opener continue, and the WPT Pro Hunt event joining them. The WPT Pro Hunt<\/strong> is a $33 buy-in PKO tournament with a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool, plus a bunch of prizes added to the pot.<\/p>\n

Cards are in the air in the WPT Pro Hunt from 19:05 BST and see more than a dozen special bounty players enter the fray with a $109 WPT Championship Main Event Day 1A satellite seat<\/strong> on their heads. Win the tournament for massive bragging rights, and a free $5,300 seat into the WPTWOC Main Event<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
