Online communities battle it out this Thursday, with guarantee boosted to $20,000\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Online communities will go\u00a0head to head\u00a0once again in the\u00a0partypoker\u00a0Community Poker Knockout<\/strong>, where for the second time, famous faces carry special bounties on their heads.<\/p>\n

Following the success of the inaugural partypoker Community Poker Knockout in June, this month\u2019s edition takes place at partypoker on July 29, 2021, at 19:00 BST.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Community Poker Knockout is a\u00a0monthly\u00a0progressive knockout tournament<\/strong> that any registered partypoker player can enter, and includes players from a total of 11 online communities<\/strong>. Each participating community selects one special bounty player, who carries a $50 bounty<\/strong> on their head for any player who can knock them out.<\/p>\n

On top of this, if a special bounty player<\/strong> is knocked out by a player from the same community, the winning player will also be able to claim an exclusive prize offered by their community<\/strong>.\u00a0These special prizes include\u00a0an Xbox Series S<\/strong>,\u00a0a PS5<\/strong>, a gaming laptop<\/strong>, $500 cash<\/strong>,\u00a0$500 to spend on tournaments,<\/strong> and\u00a0a\u00a0\u00a3500 tech bundle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

PDC World Darts Championship Winner Gerwyn Price Is Playing!<\/h2>\n

One such player carrying a special bounty will be\u00a0this year\u2019s PDC World Darts Championship<\/strong> winner\u00a0and former rugby union\u00a0and rugby league\u00a0player Gerwyn Price<\/strong>, who will be representing community forum The Poker Page<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Gerwyn will be joined by actor Shaun Williamson<\/strong>, who viewers may know better as Barry Evans<\/strong> from soap opera EastEnders<\/strong>. Shaun is representing betting community FootyAccums<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile,\u00a0four-time super-middleweight world boxing champion and Team\u00a0partypoker\u00a0member Carl\u00a0Froch<\/strong><\/a> will once again be participating on behalf of the\u00a0partypoker\u00a0community.<\/p>\n

Froch Ready For a Knockout of a Different Kind<\/h2>\n

Carl said:\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m looking forward to getting in the mix for the\u00a0partypoker\u00a0Community Knockout tournament again;\u00a0this time with a $20,000 prize pool<\/strong>. There\u2019s\u00a0$500\u00a0in tournament dollars<\/strong>\u00a0up for grabs\u00a0for knocking me out and lots of other great prizes if you are part of the communities,\u00a0so come and have a go!\u201d<\/p>\n

Any\u00a0partypoker\u00a0player can enter, but to be eligible to win the special prizes, players need to sign up with any of the 11 communities<\/strong> that will be participating via their Facebook and Twitter pages.<\/p>\n

The bounty prizes and additional prizes can only be claimed on social media<\/strong>. All players need to do is take a screenshot of their winning hand<\/strong>, share it with their community on social media and make sure they tag\u00a0partypoker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition to the bounty prizes,\u00a0the minimum guarantee has been given a significant boost from $5,000 to $20,000, for the same $5.50 buy-in, giving even better value to players.<\/p>\n

The tournament will be streamed from start to finish on\u00a0partypokerTV<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0partypoker\u2019s\u00a0Twitch channel.<\/p>\n

Last month\u2019s\u00a0partypoker\u00a0Community Knockout\u00a0was won by\u00a0Artem\u00a0Kharitohov<\/strong>. The Russia-based player\u00a0placed first out of 1,726 entrants to win $1,209.04<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
