It costs <strong>$1,050 to buy into direct<\/strong>, but you can play your way into it via phased tournaments with buy-ins of $2.20, $22, and $109.<\/p>\n<p>Only the top 47 finishers won a slice of the $280,576 prize pool, Ireland&#8217;s <strong>Tom Dunne<\/strong> being the unfortunate soul who burst the money bubble. Dunne&#8217;s exit paved the way for players such as Sylvain Loosli, Team partypoker trio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/jaime-staples\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Jaime Staples<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/patrick-leonard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/isaac-haxton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Isaac Haxton<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/e52k-score-is-just-what-the-doctor-ordered-for-mary-pudmoreff.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Mary Pudmoreff<\/strong><\/a> to see a healthy return in their investment.<\/p>\n<p>Pudmoreff&#8217;s exit in tenth place set the final table where $53,425 waited for the eventual champion.<\/p>\n<h2>Fox Is Slain<\/h2>\n<p>Two-time WSOP bracelet winner <strong>Elio Fox<\/strong> was the first of the nine finalists to bow out. Fox had to make do with the $5,488 ninth-place prize. <strong>Lucas Cominelli<\/strong> and <strong>Daniel Rezaei<\/strong> joined Fox on the sidelines with prizes of $6,628 and $8,040 in their partypoker accounts.<\/p>\n<p>The last five-figure prize of the evening went to <strong>Thomas Boivin<\/strong>, who collected $9,865 for an impressive sixth-place finish.<\/p>\n<p>Hungarian star <strong>Marton Czuczor<\/strong> saw his tournament end abruptly in fifth place, a finish worth $12,291. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/sosia-jiang-wins-big-game-to-become-a-wptwoc-event-winner.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Sosia Jiang<\/strong><\/a> of New Zealand was the tournament&#8217;s last standing female player. The Kiwi crashed out in fourth spot and padded her bankroll with $17,042.<\/p>\n<h2>Fara Finishes in Third<\/h2>\n<p>Heads-up was set when <strong>Tomas Fara<\/strong> fell by the wayside in third. Fara turned his $1,050 investment into a most impressive $25,553.<\/p>\n<p>Schemion and Austrian <strong>Simon Grabenschweiger<\/strong> locked horns heads-up for the title and the lion&#8217;s share of the prize pool. The difference between first and second place was $16,253, so nobody would have batted an eyelid had the heads-up duo struck a deal. No deal was struck, however, and Schemion brushed aside his opponent. The lack of a deal meant Schemion scooped $53,425 which left Grabenschweiger to lock in the $37,172 consolation prize.<\/p>\n<h3>Love poker?
