Day 1 saw the 41 starters whittled to a more manageable final table of seven, each of whom was now in the money.<\/p>\n

Sergi Reixach<\/strong> was the first finalist to bow out. Reixach’s seventh-place finish saw $53,915 make its way to his partypoker account. Reixach gained some company on the sidelines when Duco Ten Haven<\/strong> bowed out in sixth. The Dutch grinder collected $62,644 for his impressive run.<\/p>\n

The last five-figure prize of the evening went to the Austrian sensation that is Matthias Eibinger<\/strong><\/a>. Fifth place paid out $74,773 from the $1,025,000 prize pool. Knowing Eibinger as we do, we know he will be disappointed to have finished fifth despite collecting a bankroll-boosting prize.<\/p>\n

Pascal Hartmann<\/strong><\/a> saw his run in the $25,500 Super High Roller abruptly in fourth place, a finish that came with a chunky $100,993 score. Ali Imsirovic busted in third for $145,662, which left Addamo heads-up against Artur Martirosian<\/strong><\/a> of Russia.<\/p>\n

Addamo rarely loses once he reaches the final stages of a major tournament, and did not lose here. The Australian superstar secured the $363,660 top prize, leaving Martirosian to console himself with a still huge $223,349 second-place prize.<\/p>\n
