They feed into <strong>$3.30 buy-in Phase 1<\/strong> satellites, followed by <strong>$33 buy-in Phase 2<\/strong>. A luxurious <strong>Hublot watch<\/strong> is also given to the Main Event champion, commemorating their fantastic achievement.<\/p>\n<p>Swedish superstar <strong>Christian Jeppsson<\/strong> won the equivalent tournament last year. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/christian-jeppsson-wins-wpt-online-championship.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jeppsson was crowned the WPT Online Championship Main Event champion<\/a> in 2020. He walked away with $923,785 for his victory, a victory the Swede called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/wpt-online-championship-victory-is-jeppssons-career-highlight.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>a career highlight<\/strong><\/a>. That is some accolade considering Jeppsson has won millions of dollars during his long and illustrious career.<\/p>\n<h2>WPT Online Series Mini Main Event Is Only Mini By Name<\/h2>\n<p>Do not worry if you miss out on glory in the $3,200 WPT Online Series Main Event because there is another opportunity to become a Main Event champion in <strong>the Mini Main Event<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The only thing mini about this tournament is its name because there is a cool <strong>$500,000 guaranteed prize pool for a $530 buy-in<\/strong>. Again, the partypoker tournament lobby is <strong>awash with satellites<\/strong> into this eagerly anticipated event.<\/p>\n<p>Like the $3,200 Main Event, $530 Mini Main Event satellites are phased tournaments that <strong>start at only $0.01<\/strong>. The centrolls feed into the <strong>$0.55 buy-in Phase 1<\/strong> before heading into the <strong>$5.50 buy-in Phase 2<\/strong> satellites. These feed into the weekly final, which run on Sunday, and have a whopping <strong>30x $530 Mini Main Event seats guaranteed<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>The Mini Main Event finals have no direct buy-in, just like the Main Event, so the most you will pay to win a seat in this fantastic tournament is a mere $5.50.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris Donnachie<\/strong>, partypoker\u2019s Head of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\">Poker Room<\/a> Management, said: \u201cThe inaugural WPT Online Series back in 2020 was the first purposely-designed WPT festival to be run fully online at partypoker, and we\u2019re thrilled to have the opportunity to do this all over again.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe hallmark $3,000,000 guaranteed, $3,200 buy-in Main Event is complimented by an extensive range of exciting events such as the Mini Main Event and not one, but two of the world-renowned WPT500 events.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Why Was The WPT Online Series Delayed?<\/h2>\n<p>The eagle-eyed among realised the WPT Online Series dates moved back a week from the original plans. There are two reasons for this happening.<\/p>\n<p>First, following player feedback, the consensus was our players wanted more of a break after grinding what was <strong>a hugely successful POWERFEST<\/strong> and playing in other series\u2019 elsewhere throughout April.<\/p>\n<p>Second, there is a software update coming before the WPT Online Series where players will be <strong>prompted to change their alias again<\/strong>.
