David Peters<\/strong><\/a> is 195,033 richer than he was yesterday thanks to the poker<\/a> superstar taking down the $10,300 buy-in POWERFEST #11 Super High Roller<\/strong> event on April 15.<\/p>\n

Peters was one of 65 players who exchanged $10,300 for 100,000 chips and the opportunity to become a POWERFEST champion. Only 11 of those who entered saw a return on their money, and it was Artur Martirosian<\/strong> who was the last player to go home empty-handed, falling in 12th place to burst the money bubble.<\/p>\n

High stakes guru Michael Addamo<\/strong><\/a> was the first player to cash; he received $22,033. Jon Van Fleet<\/strong>, Christian Rudolph<\/strong>, and Timothy Adams<\/strong> joined Addamo on the rail, the latter\u2019s elimination setting the seven-handed final table.<\/p>\n

Seventh place and $28,147 went to Mark Radoja<\/strong>. Matthias Eibinger<\/strong> ($33,647) followed Radoja to the sidelines before our very own Kristen Bicknell<\/strong> ran out of steam in fifth place, a finish worth $42,654.<\/p>\n

Hungarian grinder Andras Nemeth<\/strong> ($56,559) and former WPTWOC champion Nick Petrangelo<\/strong><\/a> ($79,053) crashed out to leave Peters heads-up against the Finnish superstar Samuel Vousden<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Both players locked in a six-figure prize, but they avoided making a deal despite the difference between first and second-place prize money being almost $75,000. This meant Vousden walked away with $121,631 when he fell at the final hurdle, leaving Peters to collect $195,033 and the title of POWERFEST champion.<\/p>\n

Other POWERFEST Results<\/h2>\n

Another seven partypoker players won numbered POWERFEST events on April 15, including Stanislav Zegal<\/strong> and Dutchman Teun Mulder<\/strong>. The former won $54,009 after triumphing in the $3,150 buy-in High Roller, the latter scooped $34,031 after becoming the $1,050 High Roller champion.<\/p>\n
