Reigning World Series of Poker Hybrid Main Event champion <strong>Damian Salas<\/strong> was the 24th place finisher, which earned the Argentinian the unwanted title of bubble boy.<\/p>\n<p>A whole host of star followed Salas to the sidelines, albeit with some prize money to show for their efforts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WPTWOC Mix-Max Championship<\/strong> winner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/andrey-kotelnikov-wins-mix-max-championship-to-become-a-wptwoc-event-winner.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Andrey Kotelnikov<\/strong><\/a> was among those who finished in the money. As were <strong>Jon Van Fleet<\/strong>, <strong>Bruno Volkmann<\/strong>, <strong>Niklas Astedt<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/daniel-dvoress-takes-down-the-wpt-montreal-mike-sexton-classic.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Daniel Dvoress<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>Sam Vousden<\/strong>, and our very own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/patrick-leonard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a>; Leonard finished ninth, and narrowly missed out on a final table appearance.<\/p>\n<p>All but two of the finalists padded their bankrolls with five-figure prizes. Seventh place finisher <strong>Peter Traply<\/strong> banked $7,154 with Bulgarian <strong>Fahredin Mustafov<\/strong> busting in sixth for an $8,801 score.<\/p>\n<p>Fifth place and $11,527 when to <strong>Ivan Zufic<\/strong> who won an online WSOP bracelet last summer. His wait for a POWERFEST title continues. <strong>Alex Varga<\/strong> finished in fourth and won $15,440, with the elimination of <strong>Srikant Vedutla<\/strong> in third place, a finish worth $22,493, sending the tournament into the heads-up stage.<\/p>\n<p>Here, Pardo Dominguez locked horns with the uber-talented <strong>Alexandros Theologis<\/strong>. The pair struck a deal to lessen the pay jumps, which meant Theologis scooped $36,172 when he fell at the final hurdle.
