The APAT March Championship<\/strong> is a mini series following on from the incredible World Championships Of Amateur Poker<\/strong><\/a>. It runs over the course of this weekend, with the APAT March Main Event being the highlight of the schedule.<\/p>\n

APAT March Turbo Championship Final Table Results<\/h2>\n

Two events took place on the evening of March 26; the $33 buy-in APAT March Turbo Championship<\/strong> being one of those tournament. Eighty-nine players bought in for $33 and it was Austria\u2019s Sandro Zarriello<\/strong> who outlasted them all and who secured the $790.26 top prize.<\/p>\n

Zarriello defeated German grinder Michael Kosmis<\/strong> heads-up, resigning the runner-up to a $509.86 consolation prize.<\/p>\n

Earlier at the final table, Tony Meuer<\/strong> of Germany fell in seventh place and banked $123.99. Edi Paul Neascu<\/strong> and Simon Schmid<\/strong> followed suit, before Dean Pearson<\/strong> saw his tournament end in a fourth place finish. John Bonadies busted in third to leave Meuer and Zarriello heads-up, with the latter getting the job done and scooping the lion\u2019s share of the prize pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

APAT March PLO8 Championship Final Table Results<\/h2>\n

Sixty-six players bought into the $33 APAT March PLO8 Championship<\/strong>, which had an added twist in that the tournament had a PKO format. PLO8 is a crazy game at the best of time, but with bounties in place it became something else.<\/p>\n

Paul McTaggart<\/strong> was the last man standing in this event after he busted Brazilian sensation Bruno Arruda<\/strong> heads-up. McTaggart\u2019s first-place prize was worth $231.39 with second-place weighing in at $231.13. The bounty payments made all the difference, however, because while Arruda\u2019s haul was bolstered by $170.15, McTaggart\u2019s haul increased by $339.19, more than he collected for winning the tournament!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

APAT March Championship Schedule<\/h2>\n

There are three APAT tournaments to get your teeth into on March 27, plus a plethora of satellites from only $0.55<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We expect the APAT March Main Event satellites to be brimming with players as they attempt to win their way into the $55 buy-in tournament. The Main Event has $20,000 guaranteed<\/strong> and some of APAT\u2019s finest will be gunning for glory.<\/p>\n

More than 40 players have already won their seats via the phased satellites, including Gary Jackson<\/strong> and Celimar Oliveira Da Silva<\/strong> who sit down with massive stacks of 174,416 and 164,530 respectively.<\/p>\n

The Main Event runs across two days and has the famous APAT gold, silver, and bronze medals for the top three finishers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
