While victory in the WPT500 Knockout event will not yield such a prize, it would not mean any less to the Hungary-based Frenchman. Chalot has 222,740,522 chips at his disposal, or 63.6 big blinds, and has already accumulated $6,691 in bounties on his way to the final table. We would not bet against Chalot getting the job done once the cards are in the air.

Armin Rezaei is one of eight opponents Chalot has to contend with at the WPT500 Knockout final table and is the player with the most chips at the restart. Rezaei returns to the battlefield armed with 284,050,862 chips knowing he is only eighth eliminations away from bagging the $76,275 top prize and probably even more in bounty payments. Victory, of course, also comes with the right to call yourself a World Poker Tour champion.

The Chasing Pack

David Lopez Llacer and his 259,235,475 stack occupy second place when play resumes. Lopez narrowly missed out on a WSOP bracelet in 2015 when he finished second to Kevin MacPhee in the WSOPE Main Event in Berlin. He also has two partypoker LIVE final tables to his name, both coming at the partypoker MILLIONS North America stop. Is tonight the night Lopez becomes a WPT champion?

There are only a handful of blinds separating Duff Charette (153,598,250) and Gustavo Mastelotto (147,332,403) in fourth and fifth-place. Charette finished 12th twice in WPT Montreal Main Events and now has another shot at WPT glory. Mastelotto already has a WPT Online title to his name after winning a $1,050 6-Max event in May 2020 for $80,201.

The Shorter Stacks

Sixth-place currently belongs to Dutchman Jeroen Van Dijck courtesy of his 92,527,986 stack with Sweden’s Roberto Svedin (64,029,759) returning in seventh-place. Aliaksei Boika (42,228,017) sits down with 12 big blinds in his stack, but is experienced enough to know one double and he’s back in business. Boika already has an EPT title, can he add a WPT trophy to his cabinet?

Lithuanian Gediminas Uselis is the player bringing up the rear with his 10 big blind stack. Uselis won an online bracelet last summer, so knows his way around a poker tournament table. Uselis has his work cut out if he wants to win this event, but you are always in with a chance while you have chips in your stack.

Watch The WPT500 Knockout Final Table on Twitch

James Dempsey is joined by Team Online’s Jeff Gross in our exclusive Twitch coverage of the WPT500 Knockout final table.
