Jonathan Proudfoot<\/strong> sat down at the final table eighth in chips and needing a little luck to climb up the counts. That luck never arrived and Proudfoot was the first finalist eliminated. Proudfoot found himself all-in with against the of Hermogenes Gelonezi Junior<\/strong>. The final board read and Proudfoot was gone.<\/p>\n

Martin Brinkmann<\/strong> joined Proudfoot on the rail soon after. Brinkmann collected $91,542, the last five-figure prize of the evening, when his 6.5 big blind three-bet shove with was called by Geci who had opened the betting with from under the gun. Brinkmann flopped a world of outs on the board but none of them landed.<\/p>\n

The First Six-Figure Prize of the Evening<\/h2>\n

Seventh-place and $115,424 went to Canada\u2019s Richard Mullen<\/strong> who open-shoved for seven big blinds under the gun with . The action folded to Christian Rudolph<\/strong> on the button and he called with . Mullen flopped a flush draw but Rudolph faded it as the five community cards ran .<\/p>\n

Geci sent Rudolph to the rail in a huge coinflip. Rudolph raised to 10,850,000 under the gun with [K] and the action folded to Geci in the big blind. Geci responded with an all-in three-bet that put Rudolph to the test for the 110,505,956 chips he had behind. Rudolph called and was flipping against Geci’s .The board ran jack-high with Geci hitting a set on the river.<\/p>\n

Gelonezi Junior fell in fifth-place and turned his $5,200 into $189,320. The Brazilian busted when Daniel Dvoress<\/strong><\/a> min-raised under the gun with what turned out to be before calling Gelonezi Junior\u2019s 13.5 big blind all-in three-bet. Gelonezi Junior turned over . Dvoress flopped a set and sent his opponent to the showers.<\/p>\n

Then came the demise of the last surviving Team partypoker member, Dzmitry Urbanovich<\/strong><\/a>. It was Dvoress who sent our hero to the rail. Dvoress Goes From Hero to Zero<\/h2>\n

That hand gifted Dvoress the chip lead, but he was the next player eliminated from the MILLIONS Online Main Event. He lost a crucial coinflip with against Geci\u2019s and was left with 16 big blinds. They went into the middle when Francisco Pinho Correia<\/strong> shoved on him on the river of the board and Dvoress called. Dvoress showed but his opponent had turned a straight with .<\/p>\n

Geci held a 616,020,780 to 467,087,462 chip lead going into heads-up, but fell behind before clawing his way back into contention again. The heads-up pair struck a deal that left an additional $50,000 for the eventual champion.<\/p>\n

Geci got his hands on that extra money after limping in with and Pinho Correia checked with . The flop saw Pinho Correia check and Geci check behind. The turn was greeted with a check-call a half pot-sized bet. A river saw Pinho Correia check again, but then snap-call when Geci over-bet shoved. Good game, Pinho Correia.<\/p>\n
