Lithuania has a MILLIONS Online<\/a> champion after Gedimas Uselis<\/strong> triumphed in the $1,050 MILLIONS Online #25 Closer<\/strong> event.<\/p>\n

Some 583 players bought in across a trio of starting flights, which ensured the $500,000 guarantee was surpassed by $83,000. Half of the $583,000 pot went on the heads of each entrant, with top 87 finishers sharing the remaining 50%.<\/p>\n

Each of the seven partypoker players who reached the final table did so having locked up a five-figure prize when bounties were included. Stewart Kirby<\/strong> of the United Kingdom busted his seventh-place, the first elimination of the final table, and collected $10,703.<\/p>\n

Stoyan Kitanov<\/strong> ($16,025), Harald Sammer<\/strong> ($18,027), and Audrius Staekelis<\/strong> ($20,0213) were the next players to head for the exits. Third-place and a combined $33,391 went to the Swedish superstar Simon Mattsson<\/strong>, whose exit left Luan Barbosa<\/strong> and Uselis heads-up for the title.<\/p>\n

Both players secured more than $40,000 from the main prize pool but there was the not-so-small matter of the final bounty payments to decide. Uselis defeated Barbosa and saw his $40,199 main prize pool prize boosted by an incredible $58,410 worth of bounties. Barbosa\u2019s second-place finish saw him reel in a $54,496 total prize.<\/p>\n

Kolinkovskiy Denies Schemion High Roller Turbo Title<\/h2>\n

Ole Schemion had to make do with second-place this time around<\/p><\/div>\n

Pavlo Kolinkovskyi<\/strong> came out on top of a star-studded field in the $5,200 High Roller Turbo<\/strong> and secured a $74,502 payout.<\/p>\n

Only nine of the 42 entrants received a slice of the $230,000 prize pool, Sam Greenwood<\/strong><\/a> being the unfortunate soul who burst the money bubble. Arseniy Malinov<\/strong> and Niklas Astedt<\/strong> both banked $10,005; Astedt\u2019s exit set the final table.<\/p>\n

Marius Gierse<\/strong> was the first finalist to dust off their stack. Recent PLO High Roller champion Eelis Parssinen<\/strong><\/a> followed Gierse to the sidelines. High roller guru Timothy Adams<\/strong> fell in fifth for $15,318 before Joakim Andersson<\/strong> and Jon Van Fleet<\/strong> busted and left Kolinkovskyi and Ole Schemion<\/strong> heads-up.<\/p>\n

Schemion rarely loses once he\u2019s one-on-one with an opponent but this was one of those rare times. Schemion had to make do with the $45,757 runner-up prize, leaving Kolinkovskyi to walk away the victor with $74,502 reasons to be delighted.<\/p>\n

Only 20 of the 116 starters in the $10,300 High Roller<\/strong> remain in contention for what is a $273,678 score. Juan Pardo Dominguez<\/strong> has the most chip of those 20 players, the UK-based Spaniard\u2019s stack contains 14,428,654 chips.<\/p>\n

Two other players return to the action at 19:05 GMT on March 8 armed with eight-figure stacks. New Zealand\u2019s David Yan<\/strong> (11,048,887), and Daniel Dvoress<\/strong><\/a> (10,082,082) being that pair.<\/p>\n

The rest of the field reads like a who\u2019s who of the poker world, as you would expect from such a prestigious tournament.<\/p>\n

Christian Rudolph<\/strong> and Samuel Vousen<\/strong> have top-five stack while Team partypoker\u2019s Mikita Badziakouski<\/strong><\/a> has enough chips for sixth-place at the restart.
