Eelis Parssinen<\/strong> is a MILLIONS Online champion after the Finnish high stakes specialist came out on top of a 50-strong field in the $5,200 6-Max Omaha High Roller<\/strong> event. Parssinen\u2019s quest to win this event did not get off to the best of starts because he busted in 48th place. The Finn dusted himself down, re-entered, and never looked back.<\/p>\n

The top nine finishers won a share of the $250,000 prize pool. Spare a thought for Benjamin Juhasz<\/strong> who was the first player to bust from the tournament before buying back in and popping the money bubble. Poker can be a cruel game at times.<\/p>\n

Bujtas Laszlo<\/strong> and Yuri Dzivielevski<\/strong> finished in ninth and eighth-place respectively, the latter\u2019s exit setting the seven-handed final table.<\/p>\n

Two of Parssinen\u2019s fellow Finns were the first duo out of the door. Sami Kelopuro<\/strong> could not get going at the final table and had to be content with the $12,005 seventh-place prize. Samuli Sipila<\/strong> fared a little better, his sixth-place finish awarding him $13,949.<\/p>\n

Adam Hendrix<\/strong> crashed out in fifth for $16,650 before Ka Kwan Lau<\/strong> from Andorra fell by the wayside and added $22,489 to his partypoker account.<\/p>\n

Heads-up was set when Maximilian Lehmanski<\/strong> bowed out in third, a finish worth $32,426. His exit left Parssinen and Dante Fernandes<\/strong><\/a> heads-up. Fernandes won a PLO high roller earlier in the series but the Brazilian had to make do with the $49,736 runner-up prize this time around.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Parssinen who got his hands on the 6-Max Omaha High Roller title and the $80,981 prize that came with the glory of victory.<\/p>\n

Theologis Takes Down $3,200 Mix-max Event<\/h2>\n

Alexandros Theologis<\/strong> won the $3,200 Mix-Max<\/strong> event and saw his partypoker bankroll grow by a cool $74,937. Victory in these high buy-in events is no easy feat,. This was especially true about this event because the field was packed with poker\u2019s superstars.<\/p>\n

Team partypoker\u2019s Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a> (10th – $7,859) saw a return on his investment, as did Andras Nemeth<\/strong> who burst the final table bubble and was the last player not to bank a five-figure payout.<\/p>\n

Samy Ouwllani<\/strong> and Andrii Novak<\/strong> bit the dust early into the final table with Alex Foxen<\/strong><\/a> joining them on the sidelines, albeit with $17,717 in tow.<\/p>\n

partypoker LIVE regular Pavel Plesuv<\/strong> ran out of steam in fourth, a finish worth $24,014, before Rui Ferreira saw his tournament end abruptly in third-place for $34,855.<\/p>\n

Nobody would have batted an eyelid if Theologis and Adrian Mateos<\/strong><\/a> struck a deal when heads-up, especially with a $25,000 difference in payments. No deal was struck, however, meaning Theologis got his hands on a $74,937 haul when he dispatched Mateos in second place, leaving Mateos to a $49,928 consolation prize.<\/p>\n
