He then clashed with Team partypoker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/nikita-bodyakovskiy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Mikita Badziakouski<\/strong><\/a> in a monster-sized pot to claim the chip lead.<\/p>\n<p>Jetten min-raised to 380,000 from under the gun, Robert White called in late position before Badziakouski three-bet from the big blind. Jetten put in another raise, which folded out White, but Badziakouski called. A <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> flop saw Badziakouski check. Jetten bet 1,428,000, Badziakouski check-raised to 3,500,000 before snap-calling when Jetten jammed for 8,723,539. Jetten flipped over <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ks.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and Badziakouski <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. Both the turn and river were deuces and Jetten\u2019s stack swelled to more than 24.5 million chips.<\/p>\n<p>Badziakouski managed to keep his composure and progressed to Day 2 with a 5,716,808 stack. His fellow orange diamond-sporting teammate <strong>Kristen Bicknell<\/strong> also made it through shark-infested Day 1B field, finishing with 2,461,804 chips.<\/p>\n<h2>Big Names Punch Their Day 2 Tickets<\/h2>\n<p>Scores of big names navigated their way through the tough Day 1B field and are now within touching distance of the $892,274 top prize.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aleksei Barkov<\/strong> ended his flight second in chips with an 18,158,570 stack, while New Zealand\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/sosia-jiang-wins-big-game-to-become-a-wptwoc-event-winner.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Sosia Jiang<\/strong><\/a> bagged up 14,323,488 chips and had the biggest stack of any of the ladies competing in the MILLIONS Main Event.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/christian-jeppsson-wins-wpt-online-championship.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Christian Jeppsson<\/strong><\/a> (13,652,912), <strong>Brock Wilson<\/strong> (12,256,520), <strong>Stephen Chidwick<\/strong> (9,300,614), <strong>Jake Schindler<\/strong> (8,979,836), <strong>Upeshka Da Silva<\/strong> (7,415,731), <strong>Joseph Cheong<\/strong> (7,039,184), <strong>Chance Kornuth<\/strong> (6,784,541), <strong>Dylan Linde<\/strong> (6,573,497), <strong>Adam Owen<\/strong> (6,354,889), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/2019-cpp-day-8-mateos-main-event.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Adrian Mateos<\/strong><\/a> (5,276,177), <strong>Juha Helppi<\/strong> (4,424,478), and <strong>Luke Reeves<\/strong> (2,992,378) are just a selection of the stellar names to look out for on Day 2.<\/p>\n<h2>The End Of The Road<\/h2>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t the best of flights for the Team partypoker roster. <strong>Matthew Staples<\/strong> stone-cold bubbled the $530 Mega Sat but bought into the Main Event anyway. Things didn\u2019t go to plan and Staples won\u2019t be joining his brother Jamie on Day 2.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/john-duthie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>John Duthie<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/joao-simao\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Joao Simao<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/isaac-haxton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Isaac Haxton<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/joni-jouhkimainen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Joni Jouhkimainen<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/patrick-leonard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a> all fell by the wayside on Day 1B. Leonard crashed out in 80th place with 74 players progressing.<\/p>\n<p>Neutral fans hoped <strong>Mary Pudmoreff<\/strong> would make it through. Pudmoreff won her $5,300 seat for free thanks to Kristen Bicknell\u2019s Twitter promotion. Day 1A chip leader <strong>Daniel Dvoress<\/strong> is the man to catch having turned his one-million chip starting stack into 30,582,133.<\/p>\n<p>All 160 returning players are in the money and have locked up $10,695 for their efforts. Ten levels will be played on Day 2, which will see the field whittled even further.
