The Australian superstar seemingly wins these elite events for fun. January 25 saw Addamo clinch the title of the WPT Montreal Super High Roller<\/strong> event and take home another $450,076 for his troubles. Here\u2019s how he did it.<\/p>\n

The final day began with 11 players in contention for the title. Those 11 were soon reduced to the official seven-handed final table courtesy of Rok Gostisa<\/strong>, Rui Ferreira<\/strong>, Finnish star Eelis Parssinen<\/strong>, and Jordi Urlings<\/strong> crashing out, the latter popping the final table bubble.<\/p>\n

Arnaud Enselme<\/strong> was the final table\u2019s first casualty. He crashed out during the 12,500\/25,000\/3,150a level and cruel circumstances. Enselme min-raised to 50,000 from late position, Matthias Eibinger<\/strong><\/a> three-bet to 437,500 leaving himself only 98,364 chips behind, The action folded back to Enselme who pushed all-in for his remaining 453,000 stack and Eibinger called. Eibinger turned over and Enselme . The board ran to gift Eibinger and unlikely straight.<\/p>\n

The dangerous Justin Bonomo<\/strong><\/a>, a man with $49 million in live poker tournament winnings, busted at the start of the next blind level. Everyone folded to Bonomo on the button and he shipped in 9.5 big blinds with . Benjamin Rolle<\/strong> woke up in the small blind with the dominating and re-jammed or 794,294 in total. Addamo folded in the big blind and the five community cards fell to send Bonomo to the showers.<\/p>\n

Badziakouski Busts In Fifth-Place<\/h2>\n

Rolle Rolls Out; Heads-Up Set<\/h2>\n

Addamo opened to 73,500 from under the gun with , Former MILLIONS Online<\/strong><\/a> champion Jon Van Fleet<\/strong><\/a> called with and Rolle came along for the ride with from the big blind. The flop gifted Rolle a straight and he initially checked when Van Fleet knocked on the table. Addamo also checked, bringing the into play. Van Fleet checked again with his queen-high, Rolle bet 122,500 into 233,625, Addamo raised to 361,812, which folded out Van Fleet. Roller made an all-in bet of 1,00,498 and Addamo snapped him off. The completed the board and sent the tournament heads-up.<\/p>\n

Addamo held a 4,448,418 to 1,551,582 lead over Van Fleet at the start of the one-on-one section and there was only ever going to be one winner in this spot.
