The weather outside may be freezing but the KO Series<\/strong><\/a> action at partypoker is red hot. The series continued on December 29 with three events crowning their champions, one of who was \u201cSunTzu\u201d<\/strong> who shone brightly in the $530 Super Six<\/strong> event.<\/p>\n

SunTzu was one of 280 players who bought into this superbly structured tournament a couple of days ago and now they are a KO Series champion. Victory saw the champion get their hands on the $11,925 top prize plus a massive bounty payment of $18,234.<\/p>\n

The champion defeated \u201cITSBAKINGDAVE\u201d<\/strong> heads-up to secure top spot. Our runner-up walked away with $11,908 from the main prize pool plus an additional $1,968 from the bounty prize pool.<\/p>\n

Each of the remaining finalists secured prizes in excess of $3,500 for their efforts. Third-place finisher \u201cCrixus-the-Gaul\u201d<\/strong> reeled in a combined prize worth $11,026, which will go some way to numbing the pain of taking this event down.<\/p>\n

KO Series #03 \u2013 Mini Super Six Final Table Results<\/h2>\n

The Mini Super Six<\/strong> may have only cost $55 to enter but it paid its champion a total prize worth $8,565. That champion was \u201cLupittamancueba\u201d<\/strong> who outlasted 1,615 opponents to become a KO Series champion.<\/p>\n

Lupittamancueba brushed aside \u201cVAVAEPIC\u201d<\/strong> heads-up, resigning the runner-up to a $6,171 consolation prize, which is still a superb return on a $55 investment.<\/p>\n

Everyone else who navigated their way to the official seven-handed final table won more than $1,200 for their $55 investment, showing you don\u2019t have to spend a lot to win big at partypoker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

KO Series #03 \u2013 Micro Super Six Final Table Results<\/h2>\n

\u201cHeNTho0z\u201d<\/strong> took down the Micro Super Six<\/strong> event, emerging victoriously after playing their way through a bumper crowd of 2,701 opponents. Victory weighed in at $1,447 which is pretty incredible considering the tournament only cost $5.50 to enter. In terms of buy-ins, that equates to 263 buy-ins won! This definitely gives \u201cHeNTh0z\u201d<\/strong> the ammunition to play in the upcoming Main Events<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

We have to give a shoutout to team partypoker\u2019s Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a> who chopped the $215 buy-in 7-Max Hyper<\/strong> side event. Leonard busted in second place but not before locking up a combined prize worth $4,089.<\/p>\n

KO Series Events Scheduled For December 30<\/h2>\n

December 30 sees Day 2 of the three High Roller events take place at 19:05 GMT.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpaceyFCB\u201d<\/strong> leads the final 17 players from 145 starters in the $1,050 buy-in edition with \u201cjsmackers\u201d<\/strong> leading the $109 Mini edition. Only 37 of the 809 starters remain in that competition. \u201cToKolPo\u201d<\/strong> is the player to catch in the $11 Micro High Roller where 88 of the 2,688 starters remain in contention for the title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
