The champion defeated \u201cxsoujirox\u201d<\/strong> heads-up for the title. The runner-up scooped $21,369 from the main prize pool plus an additional $5,466 worth of bounties, for a superb return on their investment.<\/p>\n

The $22 buy-in Mini Christmas Opener<\/strong> proved extremely popular with 5,524 entrants creating a $110,480 prize pool, more than double the guaranteed amount.<\/p>\n

It was unsurprising to see this event end in a deal because the prizes were so large in relation to the $22 buy-in. The final four players struck a deal that saw them split the remaining prize pool and bounty payments.<\/p>\n

\u201calekto\u201d<\/strong> finished in fourth place, \u201cq1188421\u201d<\/strong> in third and \u201cCoSmoS88\u201d<\/strong> in second-place. This left \u201cbrocador91\u201d<\/strong> and the last player standing, a finish that saw a combined $6,476 head to their partypoker account.<\/p>\n

The only thing micro about the $1.10 Micro Christmas Opener<\/strong> was its $2.20 buy-in. More than 5,000 players bought in, resulting in a $10,036 prize pool when $7,500 was guaranteed.<\/p>\n

\u201ctargino.silva\u201d<\/strong> walked away with the title of KO Series champion, an accolade that came with a combined prize of $910. That equates to more than 413-times the champion\u2019s initial $2.20 buy-in<\/strong>, proving you don\u2019t have to spend a lot to win big at partypoker.<\/p>\n

KO Series Events Scheduled For December 28<\/h2>\n
