The holiday season is almost here and that means its time to prepare for the KO Series<\/strong><\/a> at partypoker. KO Series runs from December 25 through January 19, during which time 23 numbers events, each played as a Progressive Knockout (PKO)<\/strong> tournament, take place.<\/p>\n

December 25, Christmas Day, is when the first events shuffle up and deal. The Christmas Openers, like the other KO Series events, come with three buy-in levels to suit all bankrolls.<\/p>\n

You can jump into the Christmas Opener<\/strong> for $215, the Mini Christmas Opener<\/strong> for $22, and the Micro Christmas Opener<\/strong> for only $2.20. There are, of course, plenty of satellites and KO Series edition SPINS<\/strong><\/a> running to make it possible to win your way into the higher buy-in events, and don\u2019t forget about out Tournament Dollars<\/strong><\/a> satellites either.<\/p>\n

The $215 buy-in has a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool, while the $22 event comes with $50,000 guaranteed. Even the $2.20 edition guarantees at least $7,500 will be won.<\/p>\n

Christmas Opener Structure<\/h2>\n

Whether you\u2019re playing in the $2.20, $22, or $215 Christmas Opener events, you\u2019ll be treated to an amazing structure. Everyone sits down with 100,000 chips and plays to blinds starting at 500\/1,000\/100a.<\/p>\n

The blind structure is out of this world<\/strong> and gives you tons of bang for your buck. Level 2 has blinds of 500\/1,000\/125a while Level 3 has 550\/1,100\/135a blinds! Blinds increase every 12-minutes in the $2.20, 14-minutes in the $22 and 16-minutes in the $215.<\/p>\n

There is a trio of flights available to you. Day 1A and 1B kick-off at 19:05 GMT on December 26 and December 26 respectively. Day 1C starts at the slightly earlier time of 16:05 GMT on December 27. This is so it finishes in time for Day 2 at 20:05 on December 27.<\/p>\n

While Day 2 of the Christmas Openers are in full swing, a trio of One Shot<\/strong><\/a> events are running. These commence at 19:05 GMT on December 27 with Day 2 starting at the same time on December 28.<\/p>\n

The $1,111 buy-in One Shot<\/strong> comes with a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool. It\u2019s $109 Mini<\/strong> cousin has $200,000 as a guarantee with the $11 Micro One Shot<\/strong> paying out not a cent less than $40,000.<\/p>\n

Satellites are available for these events.<\/p>\n
