partypoker LIVE is heading back to the stunning location of Punta Cana with a tantalizing schedule boasting an incredible $10,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools.

CPP is one of the most popular stops on the partypoker LIVE tour, which should come as no surprise given the event’s fabulous location in Playa Bavaro in the sun-drenched Dominican Republic. This year’s Caribbean Poker Party takes place over ten days from November 17th-26th at The Level at Meliá Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana.

Among the big names set to compete in the Caribbean are partypoker pro’s and Ambassadors Sam Trickett, Mike Sexton and boxer Carl Froch.

Punta Cana lies on the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic where the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. With 20 miles of stunning white sand beaches and a huge variety of water sports on offer including snorkeling, diving, kayaking and windsurfing, this is one of the island’s most popular destinations. The Level at Meliá Caribe Tropical is a five star, all-inclusive resort surrounded by lush gardens with its own private beach.

Off the felt

CPP wouldn’t be a real party without an exciting schedule of off the felt activities. Fun, free events, lined up for partypoker players include complimentary welcome drinks and cocktail parties, golf days, zip lines, a catamaran trip and an unmissable night at Coco Bongo nightclub.

partypoker Ambassador Sam Trickett, the UK’s #1 live tournament player, said: “The Caribbean Poker Party is definitely one of my favourite tournaments and holds extra special memories for me as it was during the event last year that I joined the partypoker team. I would love to run deep in any of the events on this year’s CPP schedule and take on a number of the best players in the world. I’ve yet to cash in the Caribbean but I fully intend to change that record in Punta Cana! I’m also looking forward to all the fun things to do out there as well as meeting as many partypoker players as possible – whether it’s on the beach, at one of the many parties or at the poker tables.”

partypoker LIVE President John Duthie said: “With $10,000,000 in guarantees, this year’s Caribbean Poker Party is going to absolutely massive and, let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want to be in the Caribbean in November? Lots of sun, lots of partying and lots of poker – it’s going to be an unmissable event. We’re looking forward to welcoming hundreds of partypoker qualifiers for the trip of a lifetime.”
