Day 9 of the $40 million guaranteed POWERFEST took place on Monday 22nd May with the crowning of another 22 champions, including another three winners of a POWERFEST Championship Events.

POWERFEST #49-HR: $200K Gtd 6-Max PKO

The biggests core of the day, and one that resulted in the winner being propelled to the top of the POWERFEST Leaderboards, went to “fellatiado” who won POWERFEST #49-HR: $200K Gtd 6-Max PKO.

Fellatiado topped a field of 299 players in the $1,050 buy-in 6-Max PKO event to get their hands on $34,112 in prize money and an additional $27,025 in bounty payments. The winner of these events always bags a substantial bounty prize thanks to them eliminating the eventual runner-up, who was “Creutz93” in this case. Creutz93 secured $22,798 and $7,84 in bounties.

POWERFEST #48-HR: $200K Gtd PKO Hold’em

Two Team partypoker players navigated their way into the money of the POWERFEST #48-HR: $200K Gtd PKO Hold’em event, but fell short of a final table appearance.

Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell fell in 30th place for $812 and $1,501 in bounties, while Philipp “Phil_Gruissem” Gruissem was the 21st place finisher, a finish worth $1,023 and $918 in bounty payments.

Everyone was guaranteed at least $1,867 by the time the final table was reached, with the final two players each walking away with a five-figure score. Second-place went to “MonkMode” for $14,453 and $4,654 in bounties, while “JustTheNuts18” won the event for $20,150 and $19,079 worth of bounty payments.

MonkMode has been in superb form of late and has been hitting final tables for fun, which is great news for him on the POWERFEST Leaderboards as they are on course for a $5,300 MILLIONS Online ticket.

Kristen “Krissyb24” Bicknell added another POWERFEST cash to her CV with a 46th place finish in the POWERFEST #49-: $200K Gtd PKO NL Hold’em. This netted Bicknell $336 and $626 in bounties.

“K0lh0viv0” secured the lion’s share of the $231,132 prize pool, namely $17,484 and an additional $16,055 from the bounty prize pool. Both “HugoBozz888” and “bluffedlife99” walked away with five-figures scores. The former helped themselves to $13,504 (plus $4,399 worth of bounties), with the latter enjoying a $10,299 ($2,146) payday.
