Born in 1986, Marvin Rettenmaier is one of the most-popular professional players on the circuit and has taken home over $3 million in live tournament winnings. Originally from Stuttgart, Germany, the Management and Business Law graduate now lives in London. A keen musician, Marvin Rettenmaier always flies with his guitar and has a large following on twitter @MadMarvin and Facebook.

After having cashed and won many tournaments such as as the Spanish Poker Tour Grand Finale in November 2010, the France Poker Series in Paris in February 2011, or the EUR 2,000 No Limit Hold’em EPT Grand Final Monte Carlo in April 2012, his highlight came with his victory at the WPT World Championship 2012 in Las Vegas after having defeated a tough field to win prize money worth $1,196,858. This success took place in his first tournament sporting the PartyPoker colours, a moment to be proud of for both PartyPoker and Marvin: “This is unbelievable; I could not have wished for a better start to my partnership with PartyPoker,” said Marvin Rettenmaier after his victory. Following this performance and several cashes during the WSOP 2012, Marvin has put his name on top of all poker player rankings.

Known as one of the players to take part in the most tournaments, Marvin Rettenmaier will be proudly representing PartyPoker in a large number of poker events this year and, in particular, the WPT tournaments. In parallel, he will be playing on PartyPoker.com under the nickname Mad_Marvin_1.
