If you’re going to win a game of poker, it is vital to know the hand ranking. Here are all the possible poker hands, from the strongest down.

Five cards of the same suit in sequence, from 10 to ace

Five cards of the same suit in sequence

Four cards of the same rank, with one un-matching card.

Three cards of a single rank and two cards of another rank (i.e. A Triple and a Pair)

Five cards in suit, but not in sequence

Five cards in sequence, but not in suit

Three cards of the same rank and two un-matching cards

Two cards of one rank and two of another rank, with one un-matching card

Two cards of one rank, and three un-matching cards

Ranked by the highest card in the hand
