EUROPEAN CHALLENGE II SATELLITE TOURNAMENT PROMOTION Terms and Conditions

  1. By taking part in one of the PartyPoker.com PartyPoker Multi-Table Qualifying Tournaments ("MTT Qualifiers") or Single Table Qualifying Tournaments (the "STT Qualifiers") (collectively the "Tournaments ") you could win yourself a place in the PartyPoker European Challenge II at the Vienna Spring Poker Festival which is scheduled to be held in Vienna, Austria from March 3 to 14, 2008 (the "Event"). You agree that by taking part in the Tournaments you will be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Terms and Conditions of Use as well as our Standard Poker Tournament Rules (collectively the "Rules")
  2. To be eligible to take part in the Tournaments and Final you must be
    1. be eighteen (18) years of age or older or the legal age of majority in your home country, state or province;
    2. not be resident in a Restricted Territory; and
    3. have downloaded the PartyPoker Software to your computer; and
    4. have successfully completed registration on the Gaming Service and opened a Real Money Player Account ("Player Account ")
      (a "Qualifying Player"
  3. In order to open a "Real Money Player Account"players must have registered on the Gaming Service to open an account and deposited a minimum of twenty-five United States Dollars (US $25.00).
  4. The "Promotion Period"shall mean the period from 00:01hr ET on 17 January 2008 until 23:59 hr ET on 22nd February 2008
  5. To be eligible to take part in the Tournaments and Final you must be
    1. 5.1  US$1 European Challenge II Sub Qualifier Speed Rebuy (the "$1 MTT Sub-Qualifier") http://www.partypoker.com/news/items/spring_poker_festival_2008.html Entry to the $1 Sub-Qualifier is on a "first come, first served" basis by way of direct-buy in. The $1 Qualifier is a multi-table tournament of NL Texas Hold’em and will take place at PartyPoker.com daily at 10:45 hr ET,13:05 hr ET and 17:25 hr ET and from Monday to Saturday at 07:05 hr ET throughout the Promotion Period.
    2. 5.2  US$4 European Challenge II Sub-Qualifier (the "$4 MTT Sub-Qualifier"). http://www.partypoker.com/news/items/spring_poker_festival_2008.html Entry to the $4 MTT Sub-Qualifier is on a "first come, first served"basis by way of direct-buy in. The $4 MTT Sub-Qualifier is a multi-table tournament of NL Texas Hold’em and will take place at PartyPoker.com daily throughout the Promotion Period at 10:05 hr ET and 16:05 hr ET.
  6. The"STT Qualifier" shall mean the US$4 European Challenge II STT Qualifier Speed Rebuy (the "$4 STT Sub-Qualifier"). http://www.partypoker.com/news/items/spring_poker_festival_2008.html. Entry to the $4 STT Sub-Qualifier is on a "first come, first served"basis by way of direct-buy in. The $4 STT Sub-Qualifier is an on-demand single-table tournament of NL Texas Hold’em available continuously throughout the Promotion Period at PartyPoker.com.
  7. An entry into the Satellite Tournament Qualifier, as defined below shall beawarded for:
    1. 7.1  every US$35 in the prize pool of the $1 MTT Sub-Qualifier;
    2. 7.2  every ten players who participate in each $4 MTT Sub-Qualifier; and
    3. 7.3  every ten players who participate in each $4 STT Sub-Qualifier
  8. The "Satellite Tournament Qualifier"shall mean the US$35 European Challenge II Satellite Qualifier. http://www.partypoker.com/news/items/spring_poker_festival_2008.html. The Satellite Tournament Qualifier is a multi-table tournament of NL Texas Hold’em. Entry to the Satellite Tournament Qualifier is determined in Clause 6 above, and it will take place at PartyPoker.com throughout the Promotion Period at 14:40hr ET daily, except for Mondays and Thursdays when the Satellite Tournament Qualifier shall start at 12:05hr ET
  9. An entry into the Satellite Tournament shall be awarded for every ten players who participate in the Satellite Tournament Qualifier.
  10. The "Satellite" Tournament"shall mean the European Challenge II Satellite $300 + $20. The Satellite Tournament is a multi-table tournament of NL Texas Hold’em. Entry to the Satellite Tournament is determined in Clause 8 above, and it will take place twice at PartyPoker.com twice weekly throughout the Promotion Period at 14:40 hr ET.
  11. One European Challenge II Prize Package (as defined below) shall be awarded for every twenty-five players who participate in the Satellite Tournament. Notwithstanding the above, a minimum of at lest two European Challenge II Prize Packages shall be awarded.
  12. The "Prize" shall mean a "European Challenge II Prize Package" which is a prize package worth seven thousand, five hundred United States Dollars (US $7,500) and which shall include the following elements:
    1. 12.1  the "buy-in"for the Event worth four thousand seven hundred United States dollars ($4,700);
    2. 12.2  six (6) nights’ accommodation between March 3, 2008 and March 14, 2008 at the Event;
    3. 12.3  transfer service from the hotel to the venue; and
    4. 12.4  spending money of one thousand one hundred Unites States dollars ($1,100) ("Spending Money")
  13. Qualifying Players who win a Prize and who are also European Nationals resident in a European country shall also receive an invitation into the East v. West tournament which takes place as part of the Event (the "East v West Tournament").
  14. For the purposes of the East v West Tournament only, the following countries shall be allotted to ‘East’ and ‘West’ as stated in the table below:

  15. You may enter the Tournaments as many times as you wish however you may only win a maximum of one (1) European Challenge II Prize Package and you will not be refunded in full or in part for any additional European Challenge II Prize Package that you win
  16. No cash alternative is available for the Prize. Winners must not sell or transfer their European Challenge II Prize Package to any third party and winners are responsible for the payment of any applicable tax, if any, due on winning the Prize, and/or any prize money won by participating in the Event.
  17. Spending Money will be paid directly into Real Money Player Accounts.
  18. Valid photo identification and proof of age will be required to claim the Prize. Any winner whose documentation does not adhere or conform to these requirements, or who it is discovered is not a Qualifying Player will not be able to take up their Prizes.
  19. It shall be a condition of entry into the Event that no Qualifying Player shall be entitled to wear the logo or marks of a real money gaming, gambling or betting site. Logos or marks of online play-for free gaming or betting sites (e.g. .net sites) may be permitted in our sole discretion. In addition, we may require players to change clothing that bears any gaming product or service branding and we reserve the right from time to time during the Event to specify what branding players shall be entitled to wear.
  20. In any event, all clothing worn during the Event must only contain one logo on each item of clothing and such logo shall not be larger than 2 inches x 3 inches.
  21. It shall be a condition of entry into the East v West tournament referred to in clause 13 above that participants shall wear the jersey of the team that they represent throughout such tournament. Such jersey (the "Team Jersey") shall be provided by representatives of the organisers of the Event. Participants shall not be entitled to deface, alter or obscure the branding or the look of any of the Team Jersey in any way whatsoever. Participants shall not be permitted to wear any other attire bearing the brand of any poker, casino, betting or gaming related company (a "Gambling Business") or any "free to play brand"similar to, linked to or affiliated to a Gambling Business.
  22. If a non-Qualifying Player takes part in the Promotion we reserve, without prejudice to any other rights under the Rules, to seek the return of any Prize from that player’s Real Money Player Account.
  23. Officers, directors, employees, consultants or agents of PartyGaming or its group or one of its subsidiaries, parent or associated companies (its "Group"), or suppliers or vendors (including their advertising, printing and publicity agencies) are not permitted to open a Real Money Player Account ('Unauthorised Persons"). Relatives of Unauthorised Persons are also not permitted to open a Real Money Player Account. For the purposes of the Rules the term "Relative"shall include, but not be limited to, a spouse, partner, child or sibling of an Unauthorised Person. For the avoidance of doubt Unauthorised Persons and Relatives cannot be Qualifying Players.
  24. We reserve the right at our sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of the Promotion, or violates the Rules.
  25. Our Group may use the information that you provide during the Promotion or Real Money Player Account registration process to provide you with information about our products and services. You must inform us if you do not wish to receive such information by emailing privacy@partyaccount.com.
  26. We reserve the right to alter, amend or terminate this Promotion, or any aspect of it, at any time and without prior notice. We may make changes to these Terms and Conditions and the Rules and will notify you of these changes by posting the modified terms on this page. We recommend you revisit these Terms and Conditions regularly, and by your continued use of the Website you accept any such modified terms.
  27. Any dispute or situation not covered by the Rules will be resolved by our management in a manner it deems to be the fairest to all concerned, and that decision shall be final and/or binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
  28. If the Promotion can not be executed as planned, including any problems or technical malfunction beyond our control, we shall incur no liability and no Prize will be awarded
  29. The "Gaming Service" means any gaming website forming part of the gaming services offered by PartyGaming and including PartyPoker.com, PartyBingo.com, PartyBets.com, PartyCasino.com and PartyGammon.com or such other website as may be offered on the service from time-to-time.
  30. By participating in the Tournament, you agree to sign, if asked, a release form to allow PartyPoker and its group to use your name, photograph and relevant personal information for all advertising and publicity purposes throughout the world without further compensation.
  31. PartyPoker reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of this promotion, the Tournament or violates these Rules.
  32. If the Rules are translated into a language other than English, then the English version of the Rules shall prevail where there is any inconsistency
  33.
