Spring Poker Festival T&Cs

  1. By taking part in one of the PartyPoker.com ("PartyPoker") Sub-Qualification Tournaments, Qualifying Tournaments, Satellite Tournaments or Gateway Tournaments (collectively the "Tournaments") you could win yourself a place in the Spring Poker Festival 2007 which will be held in Vienna, Austria commencing on March 7, 2007 (the "Event"). You agree that by taking part in the Tournaments you will be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Terms and Conditions of Use as well as our Standard Poker Tournament Rules (collectively the "Rules").
  2. To be eligible to take part in the Qualifying Tournaments and Final you must be:
    1. eighteen (18) years of age or older, or the legal age of majority in your home country, state or province;
    2. not be a citizen of Afghanistan, Bulgaria, China, Cook Islands, Cuba, Guatemala, Iran, Iraq, Israel, North Korea, Libya, Nauru, Nigeria, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Syria and the United States of America; and
    3. have downloaded the PartyPoker Software to your computer; and
    4. have successfully completed registration at PartyPoker and deposited a minimum of ten United Stated Dollars (US $10) to open a real money player account ("Player Account")
      (a "Qualifying Player")
  3. The "Sub-Qualification Tournaments" shall singularly and collectively mean any of the following tournaments:
    1. Spring Poker Festival Sub-Qualifier $2.40 + $0.60 for the $12 Qualifier (the "$3 Sub-Qualifier - $12 Qualifier"). Entry to the $3 Sub-Qualifier - $12 Qualifier is on a "first come, first served" basis by way of direct-buy in. The $3 Sub-Qualifier - $12 Qualifier is an STT tournament of NL Texas Hold'em.
    2. Spring Festival Sub-Qualifier $2.40 + $0.60 for the $24 Qualifier (the "$3 Sub-Qualifier – $24 Qualifier"). Entry to the $3 Sub-Qualifier – $24 Qualifier is on a "first come, first served" basis by way of direct-buy in. The $3 Sub-Qualifier - $24 Qualifier is an STT tournament of NL Texas Hold'em
  4. The "Satellite Tournaments" shall mean the Spring Poker Festival Satellite. Entry to the Satellite Tournament is strictly limited to two thousand, five hundred (2,500) Qualifying Players allocated on a "first come, first served" basis by way of direct buy-in. The Satellite Tournament is an MTCT tournament of NL Texas Hold'em and will take place every Monday and Thursday at 12:55 ET and on Saturday at 10:55 ET from [END AND START DATE TO BE CONFIRMED].
  5. The "Qualifying Tournaments" shall singularly and collectively mean any of the following tournaments:
    1. Spring Poker Festival Qualifier $11 + $1 (the "$12 Qualifier"). Entry to the $12 Qualifier is strictly limited to two thousand, five hundred (2,500) Qualifying Players allocated on a "first come, first served" basis by way of direct buy-in. The $12 Qualifier is an MTCT tournament of NL Texas Hold'em and will take place every day at 07:55 ET and 14:55 ET from [END AND START DATE TO BE CONFIRMED].
    2. Spring Poker Festival Qualifier $2.40 + $0.60 (the "$3 Qualifier"). Entry to the $12 Qualifier is strictly limited to two thousand, five hundred (2,500) Qualifying Players allocated on a "first come, first served" basis by way of direct buy-in. The $3 Qualifier is an MTCT tournament of NL Texas Hold'em and will take place every day at 08:55 ET and 13:55 ET and 18:55 ET from [END AND START DATE TO BE CONFIRMED].
    3. Spring Poker Festival Qualifier $22 + $2 (the "$24 Qualifier"). Entry to the $24 Qualifier is on a "first come, first served" basis by way of direct buy-in. The $3 Qualifier is an STT tournament of NL Texas Hold'em.
    4. Spring Poker Festival Qualifier $11 + $1 (the "STT $12 Qualifier"). Entry to the STT $12 Qualifier is on a "first come, first served" basis by way of direct buy-in. The STT $3 Qualifier is an STT tournament of NL Texas Hold'em
  6. The "Gateway Tournaments" shall mean shall singularly and collectively mean any of the following tournaments:
    1. Spring Poker Festival Gateway Satellite $650 + $50 (the "$700 Gateway"). Entry to the $700 Gateway is strictly on a "first come, first served" basis by way of direct buy-in. The Gateway Tournament is an STT tournament of NL Texas Hold'em.
    2. Spring Poker Festival Gateway Satellite $140 + $10 (the "$150 Gateway"). Entry to the $150 Gateway is strictly on a "first come, first served" basis by way of direct buy-in. The Gateway Tournament is an STT tournament of NL Texas Hold'em.
    3. Spring Poker Festival Gateway Satellite $15 + $1 (the "$16 Gateway"). Entry to the $16 Gateway is strictly on a "first come, first served" basis by way of direct buy-in. The Gateway Tournament is an STT tournament of NL Texas Hold'em.
  7. Strictly no third party entries and seats in the Tournaments are non-transferable.
  8. The following "Prizes" shall be awarded in relation to the Tournaments:
    1. $3 Sub-Qualifier - $12 Qualifier
      Ranking Prizes
      1st one (1) entry into the $12 Qualifier
      2nd one (1) entry into the $12 Qualifier
    2. Sub-Qualifier - $24 Qualifier
      Ranking Prizes
      1st one (1) entry into the $24 Qualifier
    3. Satellite Tournaments
      Prizes
      For every sixty-five (65) Qualifying Players that take part in the Satellite Tournament PartyPoker will award one Spring Poker Festival Package.
      The Spring Poker Festival Packages will be allocated to the highest ranking Qualifying Players.
    4. $12 Qualifier
      Prizes
      For every ten (10) Qualifying Players that take part in the $12 Qualifier PartyPoker will award one (1) entry into the Satellite Tournament (a "Satellite Seat"). These entries will be allocated to the highest ranking Qualifying Players.
    5. $3 Qualifier
      Prizes
      For every one hundred and ten United States Dollars (US $110) in the prize pool, PartyPoker will award one (1) seat in the Satellite Seat. Any additional money after the number of Satellite Seats has been determined will form the "Additional Prize Pool"
      The Satellite Seats will be allocated to the highest ranking Qualifying Players. The Additional Prize Pool will be allocated to the three (3) highest ranking Qualifying Players who are not awarded a Satellite Seat ("Additional Prize Pool Winner").
      The Additional Prize Pool will be allocated fifty per cent (50%) to the highest ranking Additional Prize Pool Winner, thirty per cent (30%) to the second highest ranking Additional Prize Pool Winner and twenty per cent (20%) to the third highest ranking Additional Winner.
    6. 8.6 $24 Qualifier

    7. STT $12 Qualifier

      1st one (1) entry into the $150 Gateway

      1st; one (1) entry into the $700 Gateway
      2nd one (1) entry into the $150 Gateway
    10. $16 Gateway
      Ranking Prizes
      1st one (1) entry into the $150 Gateway
  9. The "Spring Poker Festival Package" shall mean a prize package worth six thousand, five hundred United States Dollars (US $6,500) which includes the following elements:
    1. the "buy-in" for the Event worth four thousand, two hundred United States Dollars (US $4,200)
    2. seven (7) nights accommodation between March 10, 2007 and March 17, 2006 worth one thousand, three hundred United States Dollars (US $1,300) towards accommodation costs at the Event;
    3. one thousand United States Dollars (US $1,000) ("Spending Money")
  10. You may enter the Tournaments as many times as you wish however you may only win a maximum of one (1) Spring Poker Festival Package and you will not be refunded in full or in part for any additional Spring Poker Festival Package that you win.
  11. No cash alternative is available for the Spring Poker Festival Package. Winners must not sell or transfer their Spring Poker Festival Package to any third party and winners are responsible for the payment of any applicable tax, if any, due on winning the Spring Poker Festival Package.
  12. Spending Money will be paid directly into Player Accounts.
  13. Valid photo identification and proof of age will be required to claim any Prizes. Any winner whose documentation does not adhere or conform to these requirements, or who it is discovered is not a Qualifying Player will not be able to take up their Prizes.
  14. By participating in the Tournament, you agree to sign, if asked, a release form to allow PartyPoker and its group to use your name, photograph and relevant personal information for all advertising and publicity purposes throughout the world without further compensation.
  15. Neither the employees of PartyPoker or its group or other producers, their advertising, printing and publicity agencies and their immediate family members (i.e. any person residing in the household of the aforementioned people) will be eligible to participate in the Tournament.
  16. PartyPoker reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of this promotion, the Tournament or violates these Rules.
  17. We and our group companies may use the information that you provide during the registration process to provide you with information about our products and services. You must inform us if you do not wish to receive such information by emailing privacy@partypoker.com.
  18. PartyPoker reserves the right to alter, amend or terminate this promotion and/or the Tournaments, or any aspect of it, at any time and without prior notice.
  19. Any dispute or situation not covered by these Terms and Conditions will be resolved by PartyPoker's management in a manner it deems to be the fairest to all concerned, and that decision shall be final and/or binding on all entrants.
  20. If the Tournament cannot be executed as planned, including any problems or technical malfunction beyond the control of PartyPoker, PartyPoker shall incur no liability and Prizes will not be awarded.
  21. If the Rules are translated into a language other than English, then the English version of the Rules shall prevail where there is any inconsistency.
