PartyPoker.com Oktoberfest Promotion - Terms & Conditions

  1. You agree that by taking part in the PartyPoker.com (the "Poker Website") "Oktoberfest" promotion (the "Promotion"), that you will be bound by these Terms and Conditions as well as our Terms and Conditions of Use (collectively the "Rules").
  2. To be eligible to take part in the Promotion you must:
    1. be eighteen (18) years of age or older;
    2. have successfully completed registration on the Gaming Service and opened a Real Money Player Account; and must
    3. not be resident in a Restricted Territory
      (any player who meets this criteria shall be deemed a "Qualifying Player")
  3. In order to open a "Real Money Player Account" players must have deposited a minimum of  twenty-five United States Dollars (US $25.00) or the equivalent on player’s available currency.
  4. Strictly no third party entries.
  5. You can win a Prize Package by taking part in the Promotion in one of three (3) ways and which are referred to in our promotional pages as Route 1, Route 2 and Route 3.
  6. "Route 1" shall mean that during the Promotional Period if you accrued twenty (20) PartyPoints the previous day, you will be entitled to take part in the Twenty Point Qualifier.
  7. "Route 2" shall mean that if during the Promotional Period you accrued fifty (50) PartyPoints in the previous twenty-four (24) hours you will be entitled to take part in the Fifty Point Qualifier
  8. "Route 3" shall mean that if in the seven (7) day prior to the Weekly Oktoberfest Final you accrue seventy hundred and fifty (750) PartyPoints you will be entitled to take part in the Weekly Tournament.
  9. The "Promotional Period" means from: (i) 00:01 ET on 14 September 2007 until 14:30 ET on 28 September 2007.  
  10. The "Tournaments" shall collectively mean the Twenty Point Qualifier Tournament, the Fifty Point Qualifier Tournament and the Weekly Oktoberfest Final. 
  11. The Tournaments are all a game of No-Limit Texas Hold’em.
  12. The "Twenty Point Qualifier Tournament":
    1. Shall take place daily at 15:55 ET between 15 September 2007 and 20 September 2007; and daily at 14:30 ET between 22 September 2007 and 27 September 2007.
    2. Entry is strictly limited to Qualifying Players allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non-transferable. 
    3. The top ten (10) finishing Qualifying Players in each Twenty Point Qualifier Tournament will win a seat in the next Weekly Oktoberfest Final.  .
  13. The "Fifty Point Qualifier Tournament":
    1. Shall take place daily at 5:55 ET between 15 September 2007 and 20 September 2007; and daily at 15:55 ET between 22 September 2007 and 27 September 2007.
    2. Entry is strictly limited to Qualifying Players allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non-transferable. 
    3. The top twenty-five (25) finishing Qualifying Players in each Fifty Point Qualifier Tournament will win a seat in the next Weekly Oktoberfest Final.
  14. The "Weekly Oktoberfest Final.":
    1. Shall take place on 21 September 2007 and 28 September 2007 at 14:30 ET
    2. Entry is strictly limited to Qualifying Players allocated on a first come, first served basis and seats are strictly non-transferable. 
    3. The top six (6) finishing Qualifying Players in each Weekly Oktoberfest Final will win a Prize Package.
  15. A "Prize Package" shall include two (2) nights accommodation in Munich, Germany, free entry towards the Oktoberfest, entry into a go-karting Grand Prix and a VIP dinner and party at the Hippodrom tent for the Prize Package winner (the "Winner") and their guest.
  16. The Winner of a Prize Package will also receive up to five hundred U.S dollars ($500USD) or the equivalent in player’s currency account towards travel expenses (the "Travel Expenses ") and free entry into a Friday night tournament where the winner will receive an entry into the PartyPoker.com Million VI Cruise.
  17. Travel Expenses will be paid into Qualifying Player’s Real Money Player Account on or before
  18. You may only win a maximum of one (1) Prize Package. 
  19. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have any necessary passports, documentation and visas as are necessary to enable you to take up your Prize Package.
  20. You are responsible for arranging and paying for any travel arrangements yourself and paying any additional sums as may be required, including by way of example only, travel and transfer costs from your place of residence, travel insurance and other incidental expenses.
  21. In the event that a winner of a Prize Package does not reply to us within forty-eight (48) hours of us having contacted them regarding their Prize Package, we reserve the right to offer the Prize Package to the next applicable runner up.
  22. Valid photo identification and proof of age will be required to claim the Prize Package.  Any winner whose documentation does not adhere or conform to these requirements, or who it is discovered is not a Qualifying Player, will not be able to take up their Prize Package.
  23. Winners must accept the Prize Package as-is.  We reserve the right to replace each Prize Package with one of similar or greater value.  Winners may not sell or transfer their Prize Package to any third party and no cash alternative is available.
  24. Winners are responsible for the payment of any applicable tax on any prize or Prize Package won. 
  25. If a non-Qualifying Player takes part in the Promotion we reserve, without prejudice to any other rights under the Rules, to seek the return of any prize or Prize Package from that player’s Real Money Player Account.
  26. Officers, directors, employees, consultants or agents of PartyGaming plc  or its group or one of its subsidiary, parent or associated companies (its "Group"), or supplies or vendors (including their advertising, printing and publicity agencies) are not permitted to open a Real Money Player Account  (each an "Unauthorised Person").  Relatives of Unauthorised Persons are also not permitted to open a Real Money Player Account.  For the purposes of the Rules the term "Relative" shall include, but not be limited to, a spouse, partner, child or sibling or an Unauthorised Person.  For the avoidance of doubt Unauthorised Persons and Relative cannot be Qualifying Players.
  27. By participating in the Promotion and its Tournaments you agree to sign if asked, a release form allowing PartyGaming plc or it Group to use your name, photograph and relevant personal information for all advertising and publicity purposes throughout the world in all media now known or hereinafter invented, without further compensation.
  28. We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of this Promotion or the Tournaments, or acts in a disruptive manner or breaches the Rules.
  29. PartyGaming plc  and its Group may use the information that you provide during the Real Money Player Account registration process to provide you with information about our other products and services.  You must inform us if you do not wish to receive such information by emailing privacy@partypoker.com
  30. We reserve the right to alter, amend or terminate this Promotion or any of the Tournaments, or any aspects of them, at any time and without prior notice.  We may make changes to these Terms and Conditions and the Rules and will notify you of these changes by posting the modified terms on this page.  We recommend you revisit these Terms and Conditions regularly.  By your continued participation in the Promotion and/or Tournament you acknowledge your acceptance of any such changes.
  31. Any dispute or situation not covered by these Terms and Conditions and the Rules will be resolved by our management in a manner it deems to be the fairest to all concerned, and that decision shall be final and/or binding on all entrants.
  32. If the Promotion and/or Tournament can not be executed as planned, including any problems or technical malfunction beyond our control, then we shall incur no liability and no Cruise Package or other prize will be awarded.
  33. The "Gaming Service" means any gaming website forming part of the gaming services offered [by PartyBingo.com and including PartyPoker.com, PartyBets.com, PartyCasino.com and PartyGammon.com or such other website as we may offer from time-to-time]].
  34. If the Rules are translated into a language other than English, then the English version of the Rules shall prevail where there is an inconsistency.
