PartyPoker “Irish Poker Championships” Promotion – Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”)

  1. You agree that by taking part in the PartyPoker.com "Irish Poker Championships" promotion (the "Promotion"), that you will be bound by these Terms as well as our Terms and Conditions of Use (collectively the "Rules").
  2. To be eligible to take part in the Promotion you must:
    • 2.1 be eighteen (18) years of age or older or the legal age of majority in your home country, state or province;
    • 2.2 have successfully completed registration on the Gaming Service and opened a Real Money Player Account; and must
    • 2.3 not be resident in a Restricted Territory.
    (any player who meets this criteria shall be deemed a "Qualifying Player")
  3. In order to open a "Real Money Player Account" players must have registered on the Gaming Service to open an account and deposited a minimum of twenty-five United States Dollars (US $25.00).
  4. Details of the time periods between which the Promotion runs, how to participate in the Promotion along with details of any bonuses or prizes (if applicable) (collectively "Prizes") can be found at http://www.partypoker.com/news/items/irish_poker.html (the "Promotions Page"). In the event of any inconstancy between the Promotions Page and these Terms, then the terms as set out in the Promotions Page shall prevail.
  5. Prizes (if awarded) will be paid into the winner's Real Money Player Accounts within forty-eight (48) hours of the end of the Promotion.
  6. If a non-Qualifying Player takes part in the Promotion we reserve, without prejudice to any other rights under the Rules, to seek the return of any Prize from that player's Real Money Player Account.
  7. Officers, directors, employees, consultants or agents of PartyGaming or its group or one of its subsidiaries, parent or associated companies (its "Group"), or suppliers or vendors (including their advertising, printing and publicity agencies) are not permitted to open a Real Money Player Account ("Unauthorised Persons"). Relatives of Unauthorised Persons are also not permitted to open a Real Money Player Account. For the purposes of the Rules the term "Relative" shall include, but not be limited to, a spouse, partner, child or sibling of an Unauthorised Person. For the avoidance of doubt Unauthorised Persons and Relatives cannot be Qualifying Players.
  8. We reserve the right at our sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of the Promotion, or violates the Rules.
  9. Our Group may use the information that you provide during the Promotion or Real Money Player Account registration process to provide you with information about our products and services. You must inform us if you do not wish to receive such information by emailing privacy@partyaccount.com.
  10. We reserve the right to alter, amend or terminate this Promotion, or any aspect of it, at any time and without prior notice. We may make changes to these Terms and Conditions and the Rules and will notify you of these changes by posting the modified terms on this page. We recommend you revisit these Terms and Conditions regularly, and by your continued use of the Website you accept any such modified terms.
  11. The online prize package prize offered in this Promotion (the "Prize Package") shall include the buy-in for the PartyPoker.com Irish Poker Championships (the "Main Event") worth two thousand, eight hundred United States Dollars (US $2,800), Spending Money, Accommodation Expenses and Transfer Costs.
  12. You may only win a maximum of one Prize Package.
  13. "Spending Money" means the sum of one thousand United States Dollars (US $1,000) which will be paid into player's Real Money Player Account within five (5) working days of receipt by us of the correctly completed Main Event booking form (the “Booking Form”) sent to you by us.
  14. "Accommodation Expenses" means the sum of one thousand United States Dollars (US $1,000) which will be paid into player's Real Money Player Accounts within five (5) working days of receipt by us of the Booking Form. For the avoidance of doubt Accommodation Expenses are a contribution towards your accommodation and you are responsible for arranging and paying for any accommodation that you may require.
  15. You are responsible for arranging and paying for any travel arrangements yourself and paying any additional sums as may be required, including by way of example only, travel and transfer costs from your place of residence to the Main Event, travel insurance and other incidental expenses. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will pay the sum of two hundred United States Dollars (US $200) towards such expenses ("Transfer Costs").
  16. Winners of the Prize Package may be required to wear branded clothing for the duration of the Main Event.
  17. In the event that a winner of a Prize Package does not reply to us within forty-eight (48) hours of us having contacted them regarding their Prize Package, we reserve the right to offer the Prize Package to the next applicable runner up.
  18. Valid photo identification and proof of age will be required to claim the Prize Package. Any winner whose documentation does not adhere or conform to these requirements, or who it is discovered is not a Qualifying Player, will not be able to take up their Prize Package.
  19. Winners must accept the Prize Package as-is. We reserve the right to replace each Prize Package with one of similar or greater value. Winners may not sell or transfer their Prize Package to any third party and no cash alternative is available.
  20. Winners are responsible for the payment of any applicable tax on any Prize and/or Prize Package won.
  21. Any dispute or situation not covered by the Rules will be resolved by our management in a manner it deems to be the fairest to all concerned, and that decision shall be final and/or binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
  22. If the Promotion can not be executed as planned, including any problems or technical malfunction beyond our control, we shall incur no liability and no Prize and/or Prize Package will be awarded.
  23. The "Gaming Service" means any gaming website forming part of the gaming services offered by PartyGaming and including PartyPoker.com, PartyBingo.com, PartyBets.com, PartyCasino.com and PartyGammon.com or such other website as may be offered on the service from time-to-time.
  24. If the Rules are translated into a language other than English, then the English version of the Rules shall prevail where there is an inconsistency.
  25. "Restricted Territory" means the following countries: Afghanistan, Albania, American Samoa, Angola, Anguilla, Antarctica, Bahamas, Bahrain, Benin, Bermuda, British Indian Ocean Territories, Brunei Darussalam, Bolivia, Bouvet Island, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, China, Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Cook Island, Comoros, Republic of Congo, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaire), Djibouti, Dominica, East Timor, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Falkland Islands, Fiji, France and its overseas regions (Reunion Island, Martinique and Guadeloupe), French Guiana, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guam, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Heard And Mc Donald Islands, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Kiribati, Kuwait Kyrgyzstan, Lao Peoples Democratic Republic, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Marshall Islands, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mayotte, Micronesia, Monaco, Mongolia, Montserrat, Morocco, Mozambique, Myanmar (Burma), Nauru, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Niue, Norfolk Island, North Korea, Northern Mariana Islands, Pakistan, Palau, Palestinian Territory, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn, Qatar, Oman, Puerto Rico, Rwanda, Saint Kitts And Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent And The Grenadin, Samoa, San Marino, Sao Tome And Principe, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Georgia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, St Helena, St Pierre and Miquelon, Sudan, Suriname, Svalbard And Jan Mayen Islands, Swaziland, Syria, Tajikistan, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Tokelau, Tonga, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uzbekistan, United Arab Emirates, Uganda, United States of America, Vanuatu, Vatican City State, Virgin Islands (British), Virgin Islands (US), Wallis And Futuna Islands, Western Sahara, Yemen, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
