Score a World Cup SuperGoal!

The world's biggest sporting event takes place in Germany this summer - the FIFA World Cup, soccer's most prestigious competition.

To celebrate, we're giving away $190,000 in four big money freerolls during our World Cup SuperGoals promotion. All you have to do to claim your share is pick a country, earn points, and play!

Here's how to score the winning goal:

Visit your PartyAccount from June 1 through June 8, 2006, 23:59 ET, where you will be asked to pick the country that you think will win the World Cup from a list of the 32 competing nations. Click on the 'World Cup SuperGoals promotion' link.

You can still play even if you don't choose a country, but you won't be able to take advantage of the extra benefits (see the 'Here's how to get extra lucky' section).

During stage one of the World Cup (from June 9 to June 23, 23:59 ET), play your favourite PartyPoker.com games and earn as many Regular PartyPoints as you can daily.

Depending on how many points you earn daily, you will 'score' certain number of goals. For details on points versus goals, read the chart below:

On June 24, the 6,000 players * who have amassed the most SuperGoals will be automatically registered for our first freeroll.

Here's how the top 6,000 will make their money:

  • All 6,000 players will take part in the $15,000 Guaranteed Second Round Final on Sunday, June 25 at 15:00 ET.
  • The top 3,000 players (50%) from this freeroll will then be registered for the $25,000 Guaranteed Quarter-Finals Final freeroll on Sunday, July 2 at 15:00 ET.
  • The top 50% of players from this freeroll will then be registered for the $50,000 Guaranteed Semi-Finals freeroll on Tuesday, July 4 at 18:00 (ET).
  • The top 50% of players from this freeroll will then be registered for the $100,000 Guaranteed World Cup Final freeroll Saturday, July 8, at 18:00 ET.

Don't worry if you don't make the cut in each freeroll: You can still go through, and we'll also give you a helping hand in qualifying for the first freeroll. This is where picking the country that you think will win the cup comes in.

  1. During stage one, if your chosen country comes first or second in its World Cup qualifying group on Saturday, June 17, we'll add 15 SuperGoals to your total!
  2. If your chosen country is still in the competition following each freeroll, you will qualify for the next freeroll, even if you don't make the top 50% cut! E.g. You compete in the Semi-Finals freeroll, but do not finish in the top 50%. However, if your chosen country makes it to the World Cup final, you will also go through!

So choose your country carefully. Remember, points become goals, which become cash!

* Please note: If some players finish with the same number of SuperGoals and this total exceeds 6,000, we will hold a random drawing to determine which of those players from the lower SuperGoals ranking will go through to the first freeroll.
