How to play Virtual Racing

After you go into the Virtual Racing Lobby, you will be faced with the choice to wager on both horses and dogs. You can select to wager on ‘instant races’ which run instantly or on ‘scheduled races’ which run at a scheduled time. The instant races are placed in the upper half of the lobby while the scheduled races appear on the bottom

Instant Races

To wager on an instant race you should click on the horse button at the top of the lobby. In the following screen you will find all the details of the runners with their individual track numbers and the odds.

For more information, just click on the name of the horse. You will find a picture of the horse, plus the age and the sex, and its last five places plus a brief narrative.

Betting formats

You will find two different betting formats:

U.K. version shows the odds in fractions e.g., 8/1
International version shows the odds in decimals e.g., 8.00

Trifecta

  1. Win/Place: win and place wagers can be placed at the Win/Place betting screen:

    • Win Bet: when you make a Win bet, you’re betting that the runner will finish first and win the race.
    • Place Bet: when you make a Place bet, you’re betting that the runner will either finish first or take the second place in the race.

  2. Exacta/Forecast: when you place an Exacta (INT.) or Forecast (U.K.) wager, you are attempting to predict the first and second finishers in the right order.

    When you place a Quinella (or Reverse Forecast) wager, you are predicting the two runners that will come in first and second, irrespective of order. You cannot wager on the same horse in both the Exacta/Forecast and Quinella bets simultaneously. For Quinella bets you can wager on a maximum of two horses only.

  3. TriCast/Trifecta: in a Trifecta (or Tricast) wager, you are wagering on the first three horses to finish the race in the right order.

  4. For Exacta/Forecast or Tricast/Trifecta wagers, you may wager any number of bets, as long as the total amount wagered does not exceed $500 in total.

  5. To help you make your bets the three bets types are shown under different tabs on the same screen. Just select which type of bet you wish to make.

Horse Racing

If you wish to place a bet on Win/Place, you may enter the amount you want to wager in the text field against your favoured type of wager. Or, you can click on the +/- buttons to adjust your wager. After you have settled on the amount you wish to wager, you can click on the ‘MAX POTENTIAL RETURN’ button to find out the highest maximum potential return for your wager. If you wish to review the Betting Summary, just click on the ‘CONFIRM BET’ button. You can make a number of wagers at the same time and click ‘CONFIRM BET’ to bring the Betting Summary up to date. This action will bring up the ‘MAX POTENTIAL RETURN’ window displaying the maximum return for the highest possible wager.

If you wish to wager on Exacta (Forecast)/Trifecta (Tricast), you will have to choose your horses and enter the amount you want to bet in the ‘Bet Amount’ text field. Unlike the Win/Place bet you will need to verify one bet at a time.

After you have verified your wagers, you can start the race by clicking on ‘Start Race.’

Betting summary

The betting summary shows the details of all the wagers you have made for a race. Some of the facts relate to the bet type, stake, selection, and the potential returns.

If you wish to cancel any bets that you have made, you will have to click on the bets details shown under the betting summary. However, you will not be able to cancel or change your bet when the race has already started.

Exit race

If you wish to exit the race and return to the racing lobby, just click on ‘EXIT RACE.’ If there are active bets you will not be able to leave a race. Before you leave the race, you will have to remove your bets.

Next race

In order to take part in the next instant race you should click on the ‘NEXT RACE’ button which will be made available to you after each race is completed.

Scheduled races

If you wish to see the races with such status as ‘Completed’/’Playing’/’Waiting,’ or make bets on races with such status as ‘Registering’, in both play money and real money, you have to click on the ‘Play Money’/’Real Money’ tabs. The dog and horse races will be shown together.

Racing Schedule

For more information, just click on the name of the horse. You will see a photograph of the horse and the runner’s age and sex will be given; its last five places and a short narrative are also provided. (Unfortunately dogs do not have photographs displayed.)

All wagers must be made at least 10 seconds before the race is scheduled to begin. To check how much time is left before the race is to begin, take a look at the section at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Exit race

If you wish to exit a race and go back to the racing lobby, just click on ‘EXIT RACE’. However, you cannot leave a race if it is still running or if it is scheduled to begin in 10 seconds.

Replay

If you wish to watch a replay of a completed race, just click on the ‘REPLAY’ button.

Game logs

If you wish to take a look at the logs of the races you have played, just click on ‘VIEW GAMELOGS’ or ‘GAMELOGS’.

Winner list

If you wish to take a look at the winners of a completed race, just click on ‘WINNER LIST’.

Rebuy

If you wish to purchase more credits to the race from PartyAccount, just click on ‘REBUY’.

Version

If you wish to take a look at the current version number of the game, just clicIf you wish to take a look at the game rules of the race being played, just click on ‘GAME RULES’.

Reloading Party Account

Continue firing up any game by adding more funds to your PartyAccount balance. There are three simple options for reloading. The first is by going to the ‘Cashier’ menu, then look for the ‘Deposit’ button that will then guide you to the next step. If you are in the middle of a game and there is a need to reload, the second alternative is the best one for you. There is a ‘Rebuy’ button that is found on every game screen that will take you to the deposit options. The last one could be done in ‘My Account’ section found in the left portion of the main page. Click on the ‘Real Balance’ button and then follow the instructions.

Remember that each option is different in terms of the length of time the fund transfer takes place and the additional charge that goes with the process. Also take note that you can’t add any funds while you are in the middle of any game so it is advisable to check your party account before starting any game.

Reaching Bet Limits

There is a possibility that during the Game you may encounter the need to reload your PartyAccount balance because it is below the limit of minimum bet allowed. All you have to do is to click the ‘Rebuy’ button that will allow you to buy credits. You can also go to the Cashier menu and choose ‘Deposit’ that will then take you to the next process. There is also a ‘Cashier’ button in every “Buy-in” window that can be found in any screen of an ongoing game. The ‘Real Balance’ in the ‘My Account’ section in the left panel in main lobby can also do the job.

Disconnected or Halted Game

In case the game is suddenly disconnected, don’t worry because the software will automatically finish the game for you. You can check the status by logging back again then look for the 'Gamelogs' button. You can also check the balance of your PartyAccount that reflects the result.

If your game is halted while you are playing in feature round, you can finish it by logging in again. After completing the feature round, you can then continue playing the same game or start another game of your choice
